Doris and Gary Stoner were married at the bride’s parent’s home in Fulton, Missouri, on Feb. 4, 1936. Maid of honor was Betty Raines, sister of the bride, and the best man was Larry Schaffer, best friend of the groom.
Sixty years later they celebrated their wedding anniversary at the home of their daughter, Lynda Huber, and husband Larry, in Walkersville. They were fortunate to have all of their family, and very dear friends with them for the celebration.
The event was catered by Mama Lucia and included the traditional cake and champagne toast.
