60th anniversary — Stoner

Doris and Gary Stoner.

Doris and Gary Stoner were married at the bride’s parent’s home in Fulton, Missouri, on Feb. 4, 1936. Maid of honor was Betty Raines, sister of the bride, and the best man was Larry Schaffer, best friend of the groom.

Sixty years later they celebrated their wedding anniversary at the home of their daughter, Lynda Huber, and husband Larry, in Walkersville. They were fortunate to have all of their family, and very dear friends with them for the celebration.

The event was catered by Mama Lucia and included the traditional cake and champagne toast.

In attendance were Sheryl Hall, daughter, of Alaska; Erica Doctor and Carmela, granddaughter and great-granddaughter, from Washington; Justin, grandson, and Tauni Hall with Max and Trevi Hall, great-grandchildren, from Utah; Lynda, daughter, and Larry Huber, Walkersville;, Rebecca, granddaughter, and Dewey Weddle with Allyson and Charlotte Weddle, great-granddaughters, of Maryland; Sarah, granddaughter, and Matt Flora with Olivia, great-granddaughter, Maryland; Patty Hassett, daughter, Maryland; Patrick, grandson, and Kari Hassett, of Virginia; Elizabeth Hassett, granddaughter, and Paul Poepperling with Paul and Hailey, great-grandchildren, Maryland; Michael Hassett, grandson, and Ariana Ciancio, of Maryland; Kimberly, daughter, and Eddie Mauck, Maryland; Luke, grandson, and Megan Mauck, Maryland; Brian Mauck, grandson, and Nicole DiMauro, Maryland; and dear friends John and Diane Catlett, of West Virginia.
