Shiela and Larry May, of Thurmont, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nikki May, to Tony Rodriguez, son of Thelma Rodriguez, of Woodbridge, Virginia, and the late Jose Rodriguez.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Catoctin High School, a 2006 graduate of Hood College (B.S. psychology and religion), and a 2009 graduate of Loyola University in Maryland (M.S. pastoral counseling). She is currently employed full-time with Fort Detrick working in human resources and part-time as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Annandale High School in Annandale, Virginia, and studied communications at Northern Virginia Community College. He is currently employed as a manager at the Lowe’s, in Alexandria, Virginia.
A May 2017 wedding is being planned at the bride-to-be’s alma mater, Hood College, in the school’s Coffman Chapel. A reception will follow in Urbana.
