FHS Class of ‘41 holds 78th reunion

The 78th annual reunion for the Frederick High School Class of 1941 was held Sept. 21 at Country Meadows Retirement Community in Frederick. Seated from left are Charlotte Langbehn, Vivian S. Clipp and Mary Elizabeth Roulette. Standing from left are Walter L. Roney, Walker W. Zimmerman and E. Lynwood Browning. The FHS Class of ‘41 was the first class to attend the “new school” and graduate there. The Class of 1940 attended Elm Street School all year, and had their graduating exercises at the “new school.” Two years ago, the school building was torn down, and now there is a brand new Frederick High School.
