TJ Class of 1978 holds 40th reunion

The Gov. Thomas Johnson High School Class of 1978 held their 40th class reunion on Oct. 12 and 13. Events included a Friday night mixer at the Courtyard Marriott, donuts and coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts on Seventh Street, a guided tour of the high school, and a dinner at the American Legion Post #11, Taney Avenue in Frederick. One hundred and sixteen classmates along with 63 guests attended the events. The class was honored by the attendance of former school faculty members George Littrell Jr., Louis Finneyfrock, Basil Eavey and Richard Culbertson. The guest speaker was Tim May, of Tim May Investigations. Fundraisers were held in conjunction with the reunion, and the Class of 1978 is grateful for the generosity of the many area businesses and classmates who donated.
