Megan Nickole Martin, daughter of Diana and Ray Martin, of Taneytown, and Cody Edward Cashman, son of David Andrew and Jo Ann Cashman, of New Windsor, were married at the Carroll County Agriculture Center, Westminster, on May 28.
The Rev. Darrell Layman, former pastor of the groom, performed the double-ring ceremony by the pond.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Ray Martin.
The matron of honor was Jena Fischer, of New Windsor, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Martin, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania sister-in-law of the bride; Christy Cashman, of Greeley, Colorado, sister-in-law of the groom; Brooke Cashman, of Owings Mills, cousin of the groom; Amy Jo Bowers, of Taneytown; Sam Shelton, of Union Bridge; Amanda McMahon, of Conway, South Carolina; and Carli Bafford, of Westminster. The flower girl was Nichole Martin, of Gettysburg, niece of the bride.
Best man was Drew Cashman, of Greeley, Colorado, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Chad Martin, of Gettysburg, brother of the bride; Justin Seagle, Jason Seagle and Eddie Cashman, of Owings Mills, all cousins of the groom; Fred Fischer, of New Windsor, brother-in-law of the bride; Brandon Koontz, of Union Bridge; Luke Ziegler, of New Windsor; and junior groomsman, Cameron Rabette, of Gettysburg, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Chris Ducker, of New Windsor; Tyler Rill, of Hampstead; Josh Bridges, Derek Schug and Evan Shickman, all of Taneytown. The ring bearer was Chase Gertsen, of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, cousin of the groom.
The reception was held at the Carroll County Agriculture Center Shipley Arena, in Westminster. After a honeymoon to Jamaica and Bermuda, the newlyweds are residing in Harney.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School. She is also a 2015 graduate of Carroll Community College, where she earned an associates degree in accounting. She works at Carroll Land Services Inc. and Bounds Accounting and Tax Services LLC.
The groom is a 2011 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School. He is also a 2013 graduate of the Institute of Applied Agriculture, University of Maryland, where he earned a degree in agricultural business. He is the Expo Center sales manager for the York Fair.
