Boonsboro High team places first at Physics Olympics

The Boonsboro High School Physics Olympics team, consisting of Maeve Dever, Mark Frushour, Hannah Kirby, Dante Nova and Bethany von Philp, placed first in the 27th annual Central Maryland Physics Olympics on Feb. 23, winning the grand prize of $1,000 for its school. Two other Boonsboro High teams, coached by physics teacher Ralph von Philp, placed seventh and 19th out of a total of 58 teams.
