There were four tables in the Thursday Open Charity Club Championship at the Moose Lodge on Aug. 3. Richard and Lois Taylor earned first place in A; Dave Bort and John Blodgett were second in A and first in B; Linda and Bob Lee were third in A, second in B and first in C; and Dolly and Ralph Maier were second in C.

There were 8½ tables in the 499er Charity Club Championship on Aug. 3 at the Frederick Moose Club. Dede Daniels and Adele Tubbs earned first place overall and in A North/South; Garr Isacco and Bruce Glatt were second in A and first in B; Mike Zimmerman and Wayne Strauch were third in A and second in B and first in C; and Penny Jacocks and Judy Haines were fourth in A. Mary Ann Simmons and Ash Kapur were first in A and B East/West; Mike Turell and Mike Behre were second in A; Catherine and Patrick Alspaugh were third in A; Fred Spahr and Pete Storm were fourth in A; Pat Harragan and Leslie Futrell were second in B; and Diane and Bart Kinlein were first in C.

There were six teams in the Sunday Open Charity Club Championship on Aug. 6 at the Frederick Moose. Dick and Lois Taylor and John and Selena Swanson earned first place in A; Ann Lebherz, Bob Robey, Dave Hall and Wesley Wu were second in A and first in B and C; and Earle and Madeline Davis, Candy Greenway and Ash Kapur were second in B.

There were six tables in the 499er North American Pairs game on the afternoon of Aug. 7 at the Moose Lodge. Janice Tucker and Diana Roberts earned first place in A; Ann Marie and Rich Gallagher were second in A and first in B; Leslie Futrell and Pat Harragan were third in A and second in B; Anna and Lucien Winegar were fourth in A; Judy Engle and Jeannie Cahill were tied for fifth in A with Andy Swaim and Kate Lehman; Judy Engel and Jeannie Cahill were also third in B and first in C; Penny Jacocks and Elaine Feinberg were fourth in B; and Bart and Diane Kinlein were second in C.

The Frederick Moose Lodge 371, 828 E. Patrick St., Frederick, hosts a variety of games for the Frederick Bridge Club. 499er games are scheduled each Monday and Thursday to begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. There is also a regularly scheduled Thursday Open game at the Moose also starting at 12:30 p.m. Team games are held the first and third Sundays starting at 1 p.m. The team game is dependent upon five teams registering in advance. Register your team, in advance, with Ann Lebherz at 301-371-7587.

A Monday evening Open game is held at Citizens Nursing Home, 1920 Rosemont Ave., Frederick. The game begins promptly at 6:45 p.m.
