The Frederick Bridge Club hosts a variety of duplicate bridge games. All players are welcome, regardless of experience or ability. If you would like to have fun, meet new people and improve your bridge game, the club offers beginner/intermediate games (0-499 master points) on Monday and Thursday afternoons beginning promptly at 12:30 p.m. An Open game for players of all experience levels is also held on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. These games take place at the Frederick Moose Lodge, 828 E. Patrick St., Frederick. An additional Open game for players of all experience levels is held at 6:45 p.m. every Monday evening a Citizens’ Nursing Home, 1920 Rosemont Ave., Frederick.

There were five tables in the Open Charity Club Championship on Feb. 1 at the Frederick Moose Lodge. Lynn Boardman and Dave Vendittis earned first place in A; Dick Taylor and Debbie Kiser were second in A; Willa Garner and Kathy Goss were third in A; Dave Bort and John Blodgett were fourth in A and first in B; and Karol McIntosh and Steve Salitrik were second in B and first in A.

There were six tables in the 499er Charity Club Championship on Feb. 1 at the Frederick Moose Lodge. Ben Colvard and Abbas Hendi earned first place in A; Diana Roberts and Mark Grobaker were second in A and first in B; Steve Olsen and Cynthia Walker were third in A and second in B; Dede Daniels and Adele Tubbs were fourth in A; and Mike and Carol Stockhausen were fifth in A.

There were 6½ tables in the 499er Charity Club Championship on Feb. 5 at the Frederick Moose Lodge. Garr Isacco and Leslie Futrell earned first place in A, B and C North/South; Pete Storm and Kathy Hundley were second in A; Bruce Glatt and Abbas Hendi were third in A. Stephany East and Bill Griever tied for first place in A East/West with El Cooper and Shams Baqai: El Cooper and Shams Baqai also earned first in B and C; and Catherine Alspaugh and Cathie Deadrick were third in A.

Ron Clawson and Debbie Kiser earned first place in A and B; Ellie Dorsey and Chris Kaufman were second in A; Mark Lavine and Barbara Lebwohl were third in A; Rob Freed and Emma Eaton were fourth in A; Ann Lebherz and Bob Robey were fifth in A and second in B; Jim Cartlidge and Dave Bort were third in B; Ben Colvard and Rhea Diamond were first in C; and John Blodgett and Woody Weaver were second in C.
