The Frederick Moose Lodge #371, 828 E. Patrick St., Frederick, hosts a variety of games for the Frederick Bridge Club. 499er games are scheduled each Monday and Thursday to begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. There is also a regularly scheduled Thursday Open game at the Moose also starting at 12:30 p.m. Team games are held the first and third Sundays starting at 1 p.m. The team game is dependent upon five teams registering in advance. A Monday evening Open game is held at Citizens Nursing Home, 1920 Rosemont Ave., Frederick. The game begins promptly at 6:45 p.m.

There were five tables in the Open Junior Fund game at the Moose Lodge on Jan. 18. John Blodgett and Dave Bort earned first place in A and B; Melva Urban and Kathy Goss were second in A; Bruce Edkins and John Sivinski were third in A, second in B and first in C; and Karol McIntosh and Steve Salitrik were fourth in A and second in C.

There were six tables in the 499er Junior Fund game at the Moose on Jan. 18. Leslie Futrell and Pat Harragan earned first place overall and in A and B East/West; Fred Hembrough and Bill Griever were second in A; and Catherine and Patrick Alspaugh were third in A. Mike Turell and Guy Whidden earned first in A North/South; and Garr Isacco and Lee Comstock were second in A and first in B.

There were 10 teams in the Open Team Junior Fund game at the Moose on Jan. 21. John Mattioli, Pat Gordon, Marsha Berman and Dennis Wick earned first place in A and B; Ed Lazarus, Dave Bort, Witold Palosz and Leon Masiewicki were second in A; Candy Greenway, Brian Leonard, Allen Dean and Elaine Mitchell were third in A, second in B and first in C; and Dave Hall, Ann Lebherz, Wesley Wu and Linda Cranston tied the Greenway team for third in A and second in B.

There were 5½ tables in the 499er STaC game the afternoon of Jan. 22 at the Moose Lodge. Leslie Futrell and Pat Harragan earned first place in A, B and C; Nancy Ahr and Carole Kirby were second in A, B and C; Bruce Edkins and John Sivinski were third in A; and Bill Griever and Stephany East were fourth in A.

There were six tables in the Open STaC game on the evening of Jan. 22 at Citizens Nursing Home. Emma Eaton and Ron Clawson earned first place in A; Melva Urban and Tim Nevolin were second in A and first in B and C; Dennis Wick and Dave Hall were tied with Mike Turell and Ash Kapur for third in A; Mike Turell and Ash Kapur were also second in B; and Debbie Kiser and Chris Kaufman were fourth in A and third in B.
