The Frederick Bridge Club hosts a variety of duplicate bridge games. All players are welcome, regardless of experience or ability. The club offers beginner and intermediate games (0-499 master points) on Monday afternoons. On Thursday and Friday afternoons typically offers games for players of all experience levels. These games take place at the Frederick Moose Lodge, 828 E. Patrick St., Frederick. Monday and Thursday games start at 12:30 p.m. Friday’s game starts at noon. An additional Open game for players of all experience levels is held at 6:45 p.m every Monday at Citizens Nursing Home, 1920 Rosemont Ave., Frederick. There is also an Open Team Game at the Moose on the first and third Sundays of each month at 1 p.m., assuming sufficient teams register. Contact Ann Lebherz at 301-371-7587 to register in advance. First through third places North/South were earned by Mike and Carol Stockhausen, Bruce Glatt and Garr Isacco, and Bill Griever and Lorraine Nicklas. First through third places East/West were earned by John Sivinski and El Cooper, Diana Roberts and Janice Tucker, and Bruce Edkins and Michael Zimmerman. Other players to place and earn ACBL masterpoints were Dede Daniels and Adele Tubbs, Anna and Lucien Winegar, Jane and Sven Engblom, and Pat Harragan and Leslie Futrell.

There were 4½ tables in the North American Pairs game on June 3 at Citizens. First and second places were earned by Karol McIntosh with El Cooper and Ann Lebherz with Bob Robey. Emma Eaten with Rob Freed and Dave Vendittis with Willa Garner tied for third and fourth place.

First through third places North/South were earned by Bruce Glatt and Garr Isacco, Steve Olsen and Manny Greber, and Ron Clawson and Ann Lebherz. First through third places East/West were earned by Dave Vendittis and Willa Garner, Bruce Edkins and Steve Salitrik, and John Sivinski and Bill Griever. Other players to place and earn ACBL masterpoints were Fred Hembrough and Lorraine Nicklas, Jane and Sven Engblom, Pat Harragan and Leslie Futrell, and Jeanne Cahill and Diane Courtney.

There were six tables in the North American Pairs game on June 7 at the Frederick Moose. First and second places were tied by Rhea Diamond with Fred Wynn, and Bruce Glatt with Pat Stuehler. Third place was Pete Storm with Ernie Heller. Other players to place and earn ACBL masterpoints were Catherine Alspaugh and Judy Engel, Mike and Carol Stockhausen, and Dave Vendittis and Ann Lebherz.
