The Frederick Bridge Club hosts a variety of duplicate bridge games. All players are welcome, regardless of experience or ability. The club offers beginner/intermediate games (0-499 master points) on Monday afternoons. On Thursdays, the club offers both a beginner/intermediate (0-499) and an Open game for players of all experience levels. All of these games begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. at the Frederick Moose Lodge, 828 E. Patrick St., Frederick. An additional Open game for players of all experience levels is held at 6:45 p.m. every Monday at Citizens Nursing Home, 1920 Rosemont Ave., Frederick. There is also an Open Team Game at the Moose on the first and third Sundays of each month beginning at 1 p.m., assuming enough teams register. There were 9½ tables on April 29 for the 499er game. First, second and third places North/South were earned by Ernie Heller and Pete Storm, Janice Tucker and Diana Roberts, and Manny Greber and Bruce Edkins. First, second and third places East/West were earned by Bill Griever and Stephanie East, Anna and Lucien Winegar, and John Sivinski and El Cooper. Other players who placed to earn ACBL masterpoints were Bruce Glatt and Garr Isacco, Mike and Carol Stockhausen, Judy Engel and Jeanne Cahill, Jessie Gribble and Kathy Gallagher, Kathy Hundley and Ellen Ristorcelli, and Jane and Sven Engblom.

There were 3½ tables in the Charity Club Championship on April 29 at Citizens. First through third places were earned by Ellie Dorsey and Chris Kaufman, John Blodgett and Woody Weaver, and Linda Cranston and Dave Vendittis.

There were 13 tables in the Grass Roots Fund Game on May 2 at the Frederick Moose. First through third places North/South were earned by Dave Vendittis and Jim Cartilidge, Ann Lebherz and Ron Clawson, and Bruce Glatt and Garr Isacco. First through third places East/West were earned by Stephanie East and Bill Griever, Fred Wynn and Rhea Diamond, and Karol Mcintosh and Steve Salitrik.
