The Frederick Bridge Club hosts a variety of duplicate bridge games. All players are welcome, regardless of experience or ability. The club offers beginner and intermediate games (0-499 master points) on Monday afternoons. On Thursday afternoons, the club offers games for players of all experience levels. These games take place at the Frederick Moose Lodge, 828 E. Patrick St., Frederick. Monday and Thursday games start at 12:30 p.m. An additional Open game for players of all experience levels is held at 6:45 p.m. every Monday at Citizens Nursing Home, 1920 Rosemont Ave., Frederick. There is also an Open Team Game at the Moose on the first and third Sundays of each month beginning at 1 p.m., assuming sufficient teams register. First, second and third places North/South were earned by Diana Roberts and Janice Tucker, Bill Griever and Lorraine Nicklas, and Pete Storm and Ernie Heller. First, second and third places East/West were earned by John Sivinski and El Cooper, Sven and Jane Engblom, and Pat Stuehler and Ed Krest. Other players who placed to earn ACBL Masterpoints were Bruce Edkins and Manny Greber, Kathy Hundley and Ellen Ristorcelli, Bruce Glatt and Garr Isacco, Lynn Marquess and Julie Blair, and Mike Turell and Guy Whidden.

First through third places East/West were earned by Pat Harragan and Leslie Futrell, Kathy Gallagher and Karen Gayman, and Anna and Lucien Winegar. Other players to place and earn ACBL masterpoints were Kathy Hundley and Ellen Ristorcelli, Diana Roberts and Janice Tucker, John Sivinski and MaryAnn Simmons, Mike and Carol Stockhausen, Judy Engel and Jeanne Cahill, and Jessie Gribble and Kim Engman.

Six teams competed in the team game on May 5 at the Frederick Moose. First place was earned by Ann Lebherz with Robert Robey, Dave Hall, and Ronald Orr. Second place was earned by Ron Clawson with Lynn Boardman, Kathleen Goss and Lowell Phillips. Other players to score and earn ACBL masterpoints were Marie Sullivan, Jean Phillips, Mike Stockhausen, Carol Stockhausen, Barbara Beard, Lewis Maddock, Ruth Maddock, Dennis Wick, Allen Dean, Bill Griever, Jim Cartilidge and Elaine Mitchell.
