There were four tables in the Open Charity Club Championship on Oct. 12 at the Frederick Moose Club. Dick and Lois Taylor earned first place in A; Ron Clawson and Debbie Kiser were second in A; Dolly and Ralph Maier were third in A and first in B; and Karol McIntosh and Steve Salitrik were second in B.

There were eight tables in the 499er Charity Club Championship at the Moose on Oct. 12. Anna and Lucien Winegar earned first place in A overall and East/West; Catherine and Patrick Alspaugh were second in A and first in B; Stephany East and Bill Griever were third in A; Susan Birch and Pat Skidmore were second in B and first in C; Leslie Futrell and Pat Harragan were second in C. Jerry Coates and Courtney Carter earned first place in A North/South; Garr Isacco and Lee Comstock were second in A and first in B and C; Helen Wasserman and Rose Conklin were third in A and second in B; and Ann Marie and Rich Gallagher were second in C.

There were six tables in the 499er ACBL Membership game at the Moose on Oct. 16. Pete Storm and Ernie Heller earned first place in A; Diana Roberts and Janice Tucker were second in A; Ed Krest and Pat Stuehler were third in A; Bill Griever and Stephany East were fourth in A; Leslie Futrell and Pat Harragan were fifth in A and first in B; and Nancy Ahr and Carole Kirby were second in B.

There were 4½ tables in the Open ACBL Membership game at Citizens Nursing Home on Oct. 16. John Blodgett and Woody Weaver tied with Ann Lebherz and Bob Robey for first place in A, John Blodgett and Woody Weaver were also first in B; Dave Bort and Jim Cartlidge were third in A and second in B; Lowell Phillips and Roma Chandra were fourth in A.

The Frederick Moose Lodge #371, 828 E. Patrick St., Frederick, hosts a variety of games for the Frederick Bridge Club. 499er games are scheduled each Monday and Thursday to begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. There is also a regularly scheduled Thursday Open game at the Moose also starting at 12:30 p.m. Team games are held the first and third Sundays starting at 1 p.m. The team game is dependent upon five teams registering in advance. Register your team, in advance, with Ann Lebherz at 301-371-7587.

A Monday evening Open game is held at Citizens Nursing Home, 1920 Rosemont Ave., Frederick. The game begins promptly at 6:45 p.m.
