Woodsboro American Legion Post supports Miss Poppy program

Miss Poppy program

As Miss Poppy representatives of American Legion Post 282 in Woodsboro, Kayla Clutter, left, and Emma Mager, visit nursing homes and veterans to distribute paper poppies. The red poppies represent the blood spilled for America’s freedom. Kayla and Emma also placed a wreath at Post Everlasting memorial on Memorial Day and participated in the Post’s recent parade.
