Face Mask Rule

Shoppers leaving the COSTCO store in Frederick wear face masks as they leave the store last week.

The Frederick County Health Department is ordering all residents to wear face masks at retail businesses starting Thursday, according to a press release issued Tuesday.

The order pertains to employees and customers. It also requires retailers set limits on the number of customers in the facility at a given time and the number of individuals in any queue outside the establishment in order to promote social distancing.

Essential retail businesses are required to provide employees with access to clean restrooms stocked with soap and sanitizer. They must allow employees to wash their hands at least every 30 minutes, according to the order. Employees must be allowed to wear masks or face coverings, and employers must provide such coverings or make provisions for employees to obtain them. Essential retail businesses must also continue to comply with existing state and local sanitation requirements and statutes.

The Directive and Order can be viewed here.

The Clown Show Continues

During his latest White House coronavirus press briefing, President Donald Trump faced questions on his decision to defund the World Health Organization.

Trump replied with a confused rant about China, claiming that they get preferential treatment from both the WHO and the World Trade Organization because they’re a “developing country” — and “We’re a developing nation too, in my book.”

phydeaux994

Ol’ DJ Trump bailed out when the questions started pointing out his contradictions. Especially the questions from the young ladies that make him look foolish. And no more “experts” except Dr. Birx, who is a nice Lady that always looks like she’s ready to cry when he calls her up to “back up” some ridiculous claim he just made.

phydeaux994

Don’t most of you WHINERS have face masks left over from the old days in Frederick County???

bosco

I sold all of mine on eBay when, on February 24, Pelosi toured Chinatown and told us there was nothing to worry about because of steps being taken in the US.

phydeaux994

And you listened? Why? You lettin’ Nancy Palosi Boss you around bosco?

bosco

Aren't we supposed to disregard anything Trump says and believe anything Pelosi, Schiff, and Schumer say? I get so confused. [beam][ninja]

pretzel

Ridiculous, just ridiculous. I've been working my regular shifts without change other then washing hands and not being STUPID. The panic button is causing more problems then anything...….

bosco

Washing your hands is the key, but something so simple doesn't fit the paradigm of the media and the politicians.

Jleftwich

I know. God, that whole infectious diseases science stuff is SO inconvenient.

Obadiah Plainsmen

Wonder how many liberals and nevertrumpers are going to spend on themselves or save their MAGA bucks. Or are they going give it back, donate to those less fortunate or donate it to the DNC?

KR999

Well OP, my guess is......………………...zero. (But, you knew that too, didn't ya?)

MRS M

kr, what is "zero" is your understanding....or knowlege....of what anyone is going to do with the checks sent to them by the federal government. Odd, but you and Obadiah Whatever are always happy to demonstrate your complete ignorance on a variety of topics...this being one of them.

MRS M

What is the real pity, OP, is that the narcissistic sociopath in the White House has delayed distribution of the checks to the millions of Americans who desperately need the help, in order to ensure his name is printed on the checks....as if that has any connection to the reality of where the federal monies are coming from. And as for those who are waiting for these checks to buy food for their families....What's another 3 or 4 days for a disgusting chump like Trump....or his supporters who think this is a game to be entertained by. Shameful, OP.

Obadiah Plainsmen

Hopefully you have been proactive and giving already to those in need. Those of us who can must help without being asked to. Food banks, homeless shelters have been pleading for supplies, they need volunteers to brave the crisis and help distribute food. Americans should not have to wait for the government to feed them when their neighbors might be in a better financial position to help. That is what is shameful, Mrs M.

MRS M

I stand by my comment, op. it is shameful for you and others to make snide and divisive comments regarding the expected checks from the Treasury, and how they will be spent, and by whom, when so many are suffering........of both parties. I guarantee that very few need instruction from you on how to best support the charities, and the neighbors in our community, who need help. Why the need to go so "low" in a time of such desperation for many?

Obadiah Plainsmen

"make snide and divisive comments" here is a short clip of your comment below "Fools" "Most challenged are teachable"

"The vocal "liberty or death" fools fighting the helmet laws did not want their "liberty" to kill themselves on their motorcycles to be infringed upon"...…

"The success of the motorcyle helmet laws DO show that even the "most challenged" among us are teachable".

MRS M

OP, I believe we are speaking here about your low comments related to who will be getting checks from the treasury, and what those qualifying for those checks will do with them. You wanna talk about the "patriotic" idiots making a case for their God given right to life, liberty and the refusal of face masks? That's another conversation. But sadly, though teachable.....it is a slow process. Why not take the hint?

pretzel

None, and 'complain' it's not enough

bosco

Way to go FNP. They just announced that Hogan has signed an order mandating we all wear masks in retail establishments. So what does the FNP use to show somebody wearing a mask while shopping? The photo of Cara Bowen shopping at Home Depot with her mask not covering her nose while wearing a pair of those magic disinfecting gloves to fiddle with her mask near her face.

Sheesh.

jclyerly

Since facemasks are nearly impossible to get, will the county be handing them out at business entrances?

Russian

Anyone who wants a face mask can buy one on EBay with their Trump Chaos Check

KR999

"Trump Chaos Check," commie? Whatcha gonna do with yours? Donate it? Burn it?

Russian

I’m going to donate part of it to Trump’s reelection campaign so I can receive some more socialist handouts the 4 years

dirtorsoil

This is hilarious Russian. The boomers take your bait _every time_. Its like shooting really dumb fish in a barrel.

Jleftwich

You can make one yourself (see YouTube). Some suggested materials:

- old T-shirt

- PJs - pillow case (higher thread count, the better)

- Vacuum cleaner bag

- furnace filter (careful of those that may contain fiberglass) - bed sheet

bosco

Careful, some PhD candidate is going to show up at Costco with a furnace filter wrapped around his head.

Russian

Can you believe liberals are preventing parishioners from worshipping together during a pandemic?

MRS M

The patriotic cry of the "oh-so-brave souls" here, just as Patrick Henry exclaimed in 1775: "Give me liberty (to not wear a face mask).....or give me death"!! Such courage demonstrated by those so threatened by this perceived assault on their civil rights and liberties, ranking right up there with the courageous first responders, ER or intensive care docs or nurses, or the fine working people stocking the shelves at Sam's Club, Walmart and Costco. This (nonsensical) debate reminds me of the one carried out years ago when motorcycle helmet laws were being debated nationwide. The vocal "liberty or death" fools fighting the helmet laws did not want their "liberty" to kill themselves on their motorcycles to be infringed upon......at any cost. BUT, the COSTS to SOCIETY (ie all of us), when those defending their "liberty" are scraped off the highways and end up in intensive care and rehab facilities after a devastating crash.......? Well, that's what's left on society to carry. The success of the motorcyle helmet laws DO show that even the "most challenged" among us are teachable. Slowly, slowly but surely, even the great and oh-so-courageous Patrick Henrys of today may show some real courage, and don a mask to help in keeping the virus under control in Frederick County, for the good of the greater community. Now that's true patriotism.

Russian

Let’s keep things in perspective, only 20% of Americans aren’t working the other 80% is.

Russian

You don’t hear people in nursing homes whining about Covid-19 it’s only the alarmists democrats and military officers

Street92

Picture this not-so-imaginary story...

For the past few days, the TV news has been breathlessly predicting "the mother of all blizzards." They say that it'll happen overnight, and before the morning rush-hour, the region will be blanketed under three, maybe four, feet of snow.

Heeding the warning, the public overreacts, as they tend to do, and descend upon the grocery and hardware stores, leaving hastily cancelled activities and events in their wake. This, of course, is all caught on camera by wide-eyed news reporters doing their live 6 PM segments from shopping-center parking lots everywhere, all while smiling customers scurry about, apparently enjoying the frenzy and excitement.

Then, morning arrives, as bedroom curtains part and window shades are raised to behold... a thin dusting of snow in the grass as a car passes by on an empty yet perfectly clear street, the driver presumably on his way to work, while you stand there in your pajamas embarrassed that you believed the hype.

gabrielshorn2013

The difference here street92 is that the weather happens regardless of our response. Had we done nothing to promote personal distancing, handwashing, and curtail nonessential work, we were predicted to have over one million deaths. Do you understand epidemiological modeling? What is happening now is exactly what was predicted. The fact that we have so few right now is a testament to how well those efforts worked. Please read the modeling done by the Imperial College of London.

https://www.imperial.ac.uk/news/196234/covid-19-imperial-researchers-model-likely-impact/

Jleftwich

Your efforts are admirable. Truly. But, do you ever get the feeling you're talking to a brick wall?

confusedmomma

It really sucks that I had to make an account just to tell some of you all that you can't do math! 17% and 0.17 are the same! 0.0017 is not even 1% of the population of Frederick County!

msmith6276

Well then you really wasted your time. The question is the percentage of the cases (445) to the population (259,541).

Just think about it - 10% of 259,000 would be 25,900 - and continuing to think it through 1% would be 2,585. So no it's not 17% after all....

KR999

You might want to check this out:

malbrigh3

What gets to me is how many people are wearing masks and not wearing gloves and glasses

msmith6276

Gloves have shown to actually provide a false sense of security - people can wear gloves then casually touch their face - they have their own usage risks.

It will be interesting to see when this gets rolled back - much easier to put in place than retract.

malbrigh3

Stupid is how many people are wearing masks only and no gloves or glasses.

benedictus

Since the masks are mainly intended to prevent the wearer from infecting others, it's not stupid. Sick people may still touch things with their virus covered hands, but the current scientific opinion is that breathing, talking, and coughing is much more likely to spread virus than touching things. The mask is intended to limit the amount of virus expelled. If the well people wash their hands after touching stuff with the virus, they'll likely be fine anyway.

malbrigh3

Sorry do not handle gloves when removing

malbrigh3

Not anywhere that I have seen recommended is to where glasses and gloves for customers. This helps best from you getting it. If no glasses purchase shop goggles or safety glasses. And if you wear material gloves do handle them when removing them and let them sit before reusing. Masks really are just to protect others. I really only want to protect myself.

thump1202

To have real protection against exposure to the virus sunglasses, a cloth mask, and gloves aren't going to cut it. If you aren't going out in the same equipment those who sanitize known disease areas are wearing stop fooling yourself that these guidelines are going to provide meaningful protection.

Obadiah Plainsmen

So it begins, mandatory face masks, next is mandatory vaccine w/ ID2020, next is must carry certification of vaccine at all times, cannot get or renew drivers license without certification. next is all paper currency and coins should be abolished due to spread of germs, bacteria, viruses. Debit/Credit cards only. Privacy and security is rapidly being stripped away. All under the disguise of this is for your own safety.

Street92

All very valid concerns. Unfortunately, most Americans are oblivious to the erosion of their rights. All of this over a virus with a lethality of less than one percent -- even less than that if you're under 65. We will look back on this with a sense of disbelief, regret and embarrassment.

duffy5x

Tell that to the dead people...oh wait. I am embarrassed for you already.

Jleftwich

There are nearly 30,000 dead from this disease.

thump1202

Don't forget, when they implement this mandatory vaccine and certification they will still clamor against voter ID. After all, if there is a required certification to leave the house or even enter a store, it is clearly causing widespread disenfranchising to apply the same standards to voting.

bosco

Sounds like the mark of the beast - required to buy and sell in the marketplace as foretold in the book of Revelations.

duffy5x

Fine. You can leave any time.

Can someone post a link where Fauci says “I was completely wrong, boy did I make a huge mistake when I told people that masks don’t help, don’t wear one”?

Or was he lying?

Obadiah Plainsmen

Here is one from Newsmax Greg Kelly, when Fauci tells the viewers that COVID19 was nothing to worry about.

https://twitter.com/gregkellyusa/status/1246060637748330496?lang=en

Another one is a quote on why he is not wearing a face mask;

“The major reason to wear a face mask, is to protect you from infecting you,” Fauci said responding to a reporter’s question about why he was not wearing a face mask during the White House’s daily press briefing. He said he was tested for COVID19 and the result were negative.

https://nypost.com/2020/04/05/dr-anthony-fauci-tests-negative-for-the-coronavirus/

paulericson

You might consider that Fauci did not tell viewers that COVID-19 was nothing to worry about, only that it was not a worry in the US in mid-January. Said it had to be watched.

Obadiah Plainsmen

"Watched" At that moment is wasn't an issue. Now when did the top infectious disease doctor decide when "watched" became a "concern" to a "problem " then a "crisis"? Or maybe he didn't know.

Henry_Avery

You do not even understand the meaning about the quote. Ignorance.

bosco

So now, Barbara Brookmyer, Health Officer for Frederick County, an appointed official, is allowed to make laws regulating citizen behavior and determine fines? Before the contrarians pile on, I understand the reasoning at this time, but isn't this a slippery slope? What will the next "emergency" be? Perhaps an politician decides one way or the other on abortions. Perhaps the politician doesn' want to see a gathering of pink p*ssy hats. Maybe the politician decides that too many guns in the hands of private citizens is an emergency. Maybe radios that receive anything but the state-approved broadcasts are now illegal. Maybe a free-wheeling internet is a threat to the common good. Perhaps everyone who has tested positive for a certain disease should wear a yellow star on the clothing. Maybe your gas guzzling SUV is a crime against the environment.

Think about this the next time you are required to dress a certain way in public. Yes, slip on that mask like a good Young Pioneer.

Think about all of this at the ballot box in November - if we are allowed to assemble to vote.

Jleftwich

Maybe you should dial it back a little and realize that the directive is coming form a competent, reasonable individual(s) who are altruistic.

It's not an enviable position to be in, ordering the suspension of personal liberties for the safety of the general public. But that is what is being weighed, the safety of all. There is Supreme Court precedent: see Jacobson v. Massachusetts.

People do no realize that we are part of the chain. And if there is a weak link (i.e., a person who just doesn't care and goes about their business), then the entire chain is compromised.

jalexander

oh god. totalitarians are so gross

User1

Then why not let Hogan, as Governor, decree that for ALL counties in Marylinistan? He know that he has that authority. And BTW if you’re going to make a requirement then why not have masks available for everyone? If the health department is ordering this then let the health department have them available....for all legal residents who pay taxes!

Jleftwich

Or, you could make your own mask.

If you don't believe in the spread of Covid-19, then please, go about your business in this growing hot zone. Go without a mask and you'll see much clearer.

duffy5x

Ahhh...yes. There it is. Can't let your bigotry take a break even during a pandemic.

Jleftwich

Trump? I said "competent, reasonable individual(s) who are altruistic."

thump1202

If you honestly believe that ANY politician or high ranking official is altruistic I've got some beach front property in Kansas to sell you. A lot of things move you up the ladder but a good heart isn't one of them.

Jleftwich

Thump: Dr. Brookmeyer is not a politician. That’s what this portion of the thread started with.

awteam2000

After the awful scenes of elderly and ill people standing in lines for hours waiting to vote in the Wisconsin primary , Governor Hogan approved calls for the state to mail ballots to the more than 4 million eligible registered voters in Maryland for the upcoming primary scheduled for June 2nd. I have no doubt, the same voting process will be available for voters to take advantage of in November’s general election.

P.S. there are already public dress codes, tried entering Costco just in your birthday suit wearing a mask 😷.

sevenstones1000

I know Fauci went on the news and said repeatedly that masks don’t help and we shouldn’t wear them. I know I heard that. Many times he told us masks won’t help.

Where are the people in the photo getting all those medical style masks? I thought that was forbidden for private citizens to have them because the nurses needed them all. Confused.

steelersfan2005

how long ago did you hear that, because that was months ago. It isn't forbidden, just discouraged for the public to wear the Medical grade masks. This isn't a hard concept to understand.

Some of us "sheeple" have already lost relatives, in my case a 98 year old uncle in PA, and I have a friend in PA back in the ICU after a brief release to rehab. Mostly unresponsive, a thumbs up now and then. Guess what, it only ever was a stroke, now it's pneumonia and another stroke, and you just pray corona doesn't find him while he recovers. And you wouldn't believe how complicated funeral arrangements get if you happen to need them. If you don't know anyone ensnared in this mess lucky for you. Wear the mask and be thankful.

Henry_Avery

Your grandparents, part of the greatest generation, had to contend with rationing...EVERYTHING. And they had to deal with air raid drills, and they likely complied, for the greater good.

You too can deal with a little inconvenience for a temporary time. Cover your face. At least it will keep your mouth shut.

phydeaux994

Love it or leave it, stevej_. Remember that one from the Vietnam War era? I always hated that phrase because I thought that you should stay and try to change it. But the WHINERS are getting so WHINY these days I keep thinking it.

patomd969

As of the 2019 U.S. census the population of Frederick County was 259,547 people. At 5:15 p.m. on 4/14/20, the Frederick County Health Department reported that Frederick County Maryland had 445 cases of coronavirus. This means that 24 hours ago , if I am correct, 0.17% (zero point one seven percent) of the people in Frederick County have the virus. So EVERYONE in Frederick County Maryland must now wear a face mask when entering a retail business. Gee Frederick County Health Department and your superiors, are you kidding me????? Once again, the minority runs the world!!! If you are so worried about catching the virus, stay home and order your groceries on-line. And for retail employees that are afraid of catching the virus, quit and let someone who needs a job, take your place. There are plenty of people out there looking for work.

skipsd0g1

You are clueless and a simpleton. Try ordering groceries on line. You might learn something.

Francine

It is actually 17%.

patomd969

Sorry Francine. Do the math. 445 divided by 259,547 equals 0.0017; find percentage by moving decimal point two places to the right. The answer is 0.17% NOT 17%

msmith6276

[thumbup]

FBoard

455 confirmed cases. Actually cases are likely much higher, those who didn't have serious symptoms or didn't know they had it or simply stayed home and recovered. That would drive the infected rate up, although still a minority. Agreed minority rules. That would also drive DOWN the mortality rate, closer to that of the flu! Mis-use/representation of the data. I do think workers in retail should take the necessary precautions, they are exposed to a lot of people. But still, the over reaction continues!

What's wrong with America in civilized countries masks are provided on entrance to store or by the federal government.

In America we just make stupid rules.

There are directions online for masks to sew and also no-sew versions. There are people sewing them and selling them online. There was someone on Nextdoor. Wear a bandana. Ask someone with a mask where they got theirs. You can do this.

sue1955

Not everybody has a scarf or bandana. And, if you have a problem with an unreliable shipping company (not named herein since it will be deemed somehow as vififying the entity), you can't even get what you ordered. Also, delivery of anything OTC medically speaking, is delayed at best. Lastly, sewing is not everybody's talent.

Making a mask requires materials and handling along the way. If the material is infected at some point, a healthy person may become infected through the process of obtaining this mask. sue1955

I totally agree with you, Capitano, on this subject. Logic/common sense has gone out the window. People are going off the deep end. They are so afraid of even going outside in the fresh air. It's not like they are going to an enclosed room breathing others' air. Yesterday, I was harassed by a self-appointed watchdog for delivery and set-up by a medical equipment company of all the things that my oxygen-dependent daughter needs in the home setting. (She is being discharged from a nursing home today after over a year of being ventilator-dependent in hospitals and a nursing home). "Somebody" had a problem with delivery people coming to my home. This is utterly ridiculous. I am not diminishing the extreme seriousness of the coronavirus. Again, I know from my daughter's situation what it is like on a ventilator (to say the least). However, people have to get food and prescription medicine. Not everything is available, either, by delivery to the home.

dirtorsoil

I'm sorry about your daughters situation, but I think the issue is more with your neighbors who complained then anything else. People who are already a-holes are becoming more so and nice people seem to be getting nicer. Unfortunately you seem to have the former and not the latter.

tlofft

A month ago, the warning was that persons who were symptomatic needed to wear masks to avoiding spreading their viruses to others. Then it became politically correct that everyone should wear a mask, presumably because it was being assumed that everyone was toxic. Then Montgomery County passed mandatory masking so the Frederick Council is rapidly trying to catch up to adopt PC Montgomery Socialism. Will the Sheriff's Deputies be pulled off highway patrol to enforce Shopping Center Mask Patrol?

benedictus

It became politically correct or wear a mask because the CDC came to the conclusion that asymptomatic transmission was common. The mask is meant to help prevent asymptomatic carriers from infecting everyone else.

Might as well open all businesses then if all it takes is a mask.

bnick467

Your username contains the phrase "stayhomeidiots", yet you're arguing that you should be allowed to go out without a mask. That's big brain territory, for sure.

Well bnick I was ordered to stay home by the governor unless I needed to go out. No one has followed that order thus my screen name. Following the stay home order has nothing to do with wearing a mask if you go out. Me arguing against wearing a mask has nothing to do with staying home. Maybe your big brain can handle that reasoning. I'm not sure though.

The CDC did NOT come to that conclusion

Reader: Yes, they did. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/cloth-face-cover.html

So now, certain political parties are saying not infecting others is being politically correct. That's just awesome....tlofft

DJH

Give me a break! This is ridiculous! Sorry not wearing one!!

steelersfan2005

well good luck going into a store then, you will be refused entry and/or service.

I was denying people entry just a few short weeks ago because they were wearing masks! Wasn't about to get robbed by someone I couldn't identify. Now my business is declared fair game and all my security cameras are worthless. Thanks Frederick county.

bnick467

Then close down. I'm sure with your attitude, whatever business you run will not be missed.

What attitude is that bnick? My business would be missed as it's deemed essential. I'm trying to keep people working but I can't put their safety at risk because you need your cigs and redbull. Do you know how many places in Frederick county have been robbed in the last month? You think that number will increase or decrease with less money circulating? Do you think the heroin and meth addicts will put their needs on hold until everything is back to normal?

CheetoBenito

What a little melting snowflake.

duffy5x

Tell your business, big guy, I dare you.

CheetoBenito

If you get too close to me I'll have a six foot baseball bat to help you maintain a safe distance.

Sorry user. I don't "swing" the way you do. I have no issue with your chosen sexual appetite, though. To each his own.

Dwasserba

Sorry to hear that.

Funshine

Are you kidding me? Show me the science that says this should be mandatory. Right, there isn't any, because Covid-19 can be as small as 1 micron and cloth only stops 80% down to 3 microns. This is baloney. People contaminate themselves more by wearing these do-nothing masks because they touch their face more, and will most likely take it off incorrectly and too frequently. Thanks for making this lockdown even worse, for no reason.

Stephen Cieply

"N95 masks, medical masks, and homemade masks made of four-layer kitchen paper and one-layer cloth could block 99.98%, 97.14%, and 95.15% of the virus in aerosols."

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/32232986

Funshine

That's bull, no one is wearing that many layers. You would not be able to breathe. Most people are wearing 2-layer cloth masks, and MAYBE a filter layer in the middle. As I said, that catches only down to size 3 microns, and CoVID-19 can be as small as 1 micron. So it's not going to stop you from getting sick. And for the argument that it stops asymptomatic people from spreading germs, it just limits the distance of a sneeze. That's not asymptomatic, that's sneezing. People that are unknowingly spreading it already have it all over their clothes, shoes and hands, so masks are just a garbage security blanket for sheep.

Fox Entertainment apparently is really into SHEEP. Their little viewers parrot many of their pathetic bumper sticker slogans.

stevej_

right on!!!

steelersfan2005

what lock down? WHERE ARE WE ON A LOCK DOWN?

User1

You mean like the ones wearing it below their noses? Or those with gloves getting samples from the deli and putting them in their mouths?

Dwasserba

Do-nothing masks protect you from my frequent allergy sneeze combined with possible asymptomatic case of COVID. No need to thank me.

Funshine

Sneeze into your elbow like an adult and I won't have to worry about it. People wearing masks just sneeze straight forward, which allows the virus to spread further than if they just used their elbows in the first place.

duffy5x

Look who now graduated from medical school!

duffy5x

Yeah, sick and dead people are no reason to inconvenience "funshine."

frazed

I understand the spirit of this order but unless Frederick Health is going to supply PPE to the businesses then it’s absurd. Giving essential businesses less than 48 hours to procure PPE that no one can get a hold of will simply close essential businesses.

chris

Obtaining a face covering should take less than 15 minutes for most employees. The requirement isn't for medial-grade masks, just a covering for the mouth and nose. The surgeon general showed us all how to make one without a sewing machine a week or two ago. Shouldn't be a problem; if it is, they really aren't trying very hard.

Not up to employee. Employer must provide. If my employer brings me a mask made out of one of his old t-shirts and a rubber band it will not be worn!!

chris

No, but employers are to give employees the opportunity to get their own if necessary.. Or you could simply be upset by the terrible offering of your terrible boss and maybe get fired for not following health and safety protocols. Then you'd be happy that you're no longer in that terrible, dangerous situation. Or you could make you own in 15 minutes.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. None of this has been thought through at all. These are the same people that debate for months about what color to paint something but can make critical decisions like this in hours. Mind boggling.

awteam2000

PPE is used in health care settings such as hospitals, doctor's offices and clinical labs where exposure is extremely high, not only to the patient but to the healthcare provider. It provides a barrier between the provider and the patient from infectious materials such as viral and bacterial contaminants. If someone is showing symptoms or feeling poorly they should stay at home not put others at risk by shopping at Costco.

User1

That’s the main problem. Not the majority with working brains but the minority that say “it’s all about me,me,me”!

Piedmontgardener

Good. AA county did the same today.
