Where you live: Frederick
Current occupation and employers (may also list up to two previous jobs you’ve held); if retired, list your last job and employer: general scientist/regional coordinator, Nuclear Regulatory Commission
Political experience (public offices held and when; as well as unsuccessful campaigns for office and which years; do not include political party positions): No political experience.
Campaign information:
1 – Why are you running for this office? (75 words max)
Children are miseducated to hate their nation and distrust their biological gender while undereducated in math, reading and science; law enforcement is maligned; illegal immigration with associated crime is tolerated; lax voter identification law guarantees that non-citizens vote in elections, stealing our voices; houses of worship and businesses were shut down; vaccinations were forced on us regardless of individual health status/situations. This is oppressive, anti-American tyranny. I'll do my part to stop it.
2 – What is the most important issue for Frederick County in this race? How would you address it? (100 words max)
I disagree there’s one “most important” issue. Amongst the attack on law enforcement (which emboldens criminals and threatens our public safety); the misuse of schools to teach interest-group ideology rather than reading, math, and science (leaving children ill-prepared to be successful, productive citizens); lack of voter integrity (which makes a mockery of our elections and threatens our democratic system of government); and record-high gas prices with inflation (which threaten our very ability to survive) — how do you pick just one? I’m running to reverse these attacks and help return liberty, prosperity and common sense to Frederick.
3 – What experience (work, political or other) has prepared you to hold this office? (100 words max)
I have common sense, I am principled, I have morals, and I am a patriot. This was all the “experience” the founders had when they founded the one country in the world that to this day, most people want to live in. That proves these values are all the experience anyone needs to be a good public servant.
4 – What is one major issue the current state Senate has handled poorly and what would have done differently? (100 words max)
Parental rights rank high. The Democrats in Annapolis apparently believe our children belong to them, for them to mold and shape as they see fit, rather than to their own parents. This is evidenced by their refusal to pass the parental rights bill recently introduced to them. I would have voted for it, because parents are legally, morally and ethically responsible for their children. Therefore, the fundamental right to oversee their children’s education is fair, it is reasonable, it is correct, and it is common sense.
5 – What is the most pressing health care issue in the state? How would you address it? (100 words max)
Opioid addiction and unrestrained abortion. One answer for the opioid issue is more treatment centers and/or access to them, but from my former employment as a public servant, I understand it’s easier to work toward resolving a complex problem once one has insider status. Should I be voted in, I’ll get a clearer understanding of how to best tackle this issue from inside the Senate. Concerning abortion, this culture of putting a life to death based almost entirely on its position of being in the womb is cruel and violates our Declaration of Independence guarantee to a right to life.
6 – What is the most pressing public safety issue in the state? How would you address it? (100 words max)
Again, I don’t know that there’s only one, but illegal immigration ranks high on the list, because from that one violation of the law, several other more severe violations come: sex-trafficking, murder, and MS-13 terrorism. Working with law enforcement to stem the tide of lawbreaking illegal entry and arresting and permanently deporting the human hazards to our safety, security and prosperity is crucial, and that’s what I aim to do.
7 – How well is the state is addressing climate change? What would you do differently? (100 words max)
For 50 years, the “experts” have predicted an impending environmental apocalypse. In 1970: another Ice Age would arrive by 2,000. In 1988: the Maldive Islands would be underwater by 2018. In 2008: the Arctic would melt by 2018. All false predictions. The actual apocalypse includes the deterioration of our schools; the maligning of law enforcement that exist to protect us; and the increasing inability to survive due to excessive taxation, extremely high gas prices, and inflation. I support any reasonable measure to protect the environment, but our focus needs to be on these realized dangers to our community.
8 – Do you support widening interstates 270 and 495 and adding tolls? Why or why not? (100 words max)
As one who has had to travel down I-270 for nearly two decades as a federal employee, I know what it’s like to be stuck in I-270 traffic. I agree with widening that highway, as I think it would be of service to us all. However, concerning tolls, my inclination is “no.” I’m looking for ways to reduce expenses to the public. We are taxed and “tolled” quite a bit in Maryland already.
