The Frederick County Sheriff's Office arrested a man they suspect of breaking into cars over a one-week period late last month.
The thefts were reported between Nov. 22 and Nov. 27 in neighborhoods along Ballenger Creek Pike, according to a news release.
After identifying Andrae John Wilford Jr., 20, of Frederick, as a suspect, members of the sheriff's office Pro-Active Criminal Enforcement (PACE) team saw him in the act early on Nov. 28, according to the release.
Affected neighborhoods included Ballenger Run, Farmbrook, Camden Clearbrook Apartments and Hannover.
Wilford was charged with rogue and vagabond, credit card theft and using a stolen credit card. Wilford had also been charged with theft in September, according to electronic court records.
The Frederick County Sheriff's Office urged residents to remove valuables from their cars and keep cars locked at all times.
