A Frederick County grand jury indicted three men allegedly involved in a shooting near a Frederick shopping center.
Robert Antoine Shirley, of Silver Spring, Richard Lee Thomas, of Frederick, and Dyshez Montel Williams, of Frederick, were all indicted for their alleged role in a June 20 shootout in the 1300 block of Taney Avenue and another shootout near the McDonalds and GetGo gas station on West 7th Street that left one person shot.
Frederick Police Department has since arrested five men in relation to the shooting, including the three indicted this week.
Kion B. Parker, 16, of Frederick, and Curtis Byon Smith, 17, of Frederick, were also arrested and charged as adults but have not been indicted.
Frederick Police Department was attempting to identify two more people involved in the shooting as of June 26.
All three men were indicted on first-degree assault and several other assault charges. Shirley was indicted on an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle charge, and Thomas and Williams were indicted on possession and use of a firearm in a violent crime charges.
The grand jury indicted two others this week:
Chantel Marie Wynn Jensen, of Walkersville, was indicted on possession with intent to distribute heroin and heroin mixed with fentanyl charges.
Raymond Whitaker III, of Baltimore, was indicted on possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and altering physical evidence during a criminal procedure charges.
