Frederick police arrested a Laham man on drug charges Friday after he littered in front of an officer, according to a news release issued Sunday.
Police received a complaint of a man attempting to sell and distribute Oxycodone on South Market Street. The man was identified as Jesse Lamar Williams, 26, of 7700 block Finns Lane, according to the news release.
After he made contact with an officer, Williams dropped a bottle of Oxcodone pills in the street, police said in the news release. The pills were not prescribed to Williams, who also had an active arrest warrant for a failure to pay a fine through Rockville police.
Williams was also charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and littering.
Williams was arrested and taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held on $15,000 bail, according to online court records.
