No one was hurt Sunday night when a mobile home caught fire outside Thurmont.

Fire consumed the mobile home in the 14200 block of Hoovers Mill Road, said Lt. Charlie Green, deputy fire marshal for the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services.

Firefighters were first dispatched at about 9:40 p.m. and were still working past 11:30 p.m.

Crews were pumping water from a creek near the intersection of Hoovers Mill and Frushour roads as authorities blocked access to the scene.

Green said there were no injuries. No additional details were available Sunday night.
