A Pasadena man died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Frederick County.

Michael Edward Era, 54, was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press release from Maryland State Police. The crash occurred on Md. 28, also known as Dickerson Road, east of Md. 85. Era was the only person in his vehicle.

Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, but troopers are still investigating, according to the release.

Maryland State Police did not have any more information, as of Sunday morning.

If he was ejected he didn't have his seat belt on.

Sad, but I am glad he didn't hurt anyone else
