The Community Foundation of Frederick County is accepting applications for funding from its Friends of the Great Frederick Fair Fund. This fund supports organizations providing agriculture education, renovating, constructing and maintaining buildings used to promote agricultural activities by nonprofit organizations, and promoting agriculture as an industry and as a way of life in Frederick County. The Frederick County Pomona Grange will hold its quarterly meeting at 10 a.m. July 27 at the Linganore Grange Hall on Unionville Road. All members are welcome to attend and discuss activities and events that the Grange is sponsoring. Lunch will be served by members of the Linganore Grange. In addition, the annual flower contest will be held and judged at the meeting.
