ANNAPOLIS — Creating and selling edible medical cannabis products, allowing inmates to receive medical cannabis treatment, and prohibiting employers from asking about marijuana use could become law in Maryland under bills being pushed in this year’s General Assembly.

The Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee is expected to hear 18 bills regarding medical cannabis and marijuana use in the state on Tuesday.

Dang! I keep coming back to article. That BUD looks so.........good that I wish I could pull it out the frame and smoke it.

Why don't they quit dicking around and just legalize it? We all know that's coming eventually, just get it over with.

Saw this in local news cast. Are we looking at a precursor similar yo current opioid crisis resulting in MORE government taxes to treat? When is humanity going to understand that it’s policies govern human behaviors and there is evidence to support same...alcoholism, gambling, drugs, etc. The science with long term effects to include harm have not been established for this drug. I fear our politicians are only concerned with creating new tax revenues as with currently approved laws of vises mentioned above. Another potential example of humanity being its worse by encouraging adverse behaviors on its own. Will we ever learn? Look back at established history politicians.
