The Lucy School in Middletown will have a new leader when the 2019-20 school year begins.

Chris Isleib will take over as director and head of school, with former director Victoria Brown taking an advisory role and focusing on the school's teacher training institute, according to a letter to parents provided by the school.

Isleib has been involved at the school, where her daughters attended, since it began in 2002, and she took a teaching position the next year.

She became the school's curriculum director in 2005, and for the past five years, has been the school's assistant director.

The Lucy School is an arts-based facility serving preschool, elementary and middle school students.
