Hood College is conducting its third annual campaign that focuses on healthy dating and sexual assault prevention.

The “It's On Us” campaign, an offshoot of an initiative started by the White House two years ago, kicked off Sunday. Participants in the campaign pledge to help keep both men and women safe from sexual assault.

Pledge drives began Monday, and continue 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Whitaker Campus Center Commons.

The campus is encouraged to wear red on Thursday to signify and build awareness of unhealthy relationships.

Also on Thursday, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., the college will hold a forum to discuss healthy relationships at the Hodson Auditorium in Rosenstock Hall.
