AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION THIS WEEK are Muffin, a 9-month-old female cat, and Apollo, a pit bull terrier mix.

Muffin is a little shy but who can blame her with all the busyness of the shelter. Her previous owners surrendered her because they felt they had too many cats. Muffin’s profile describes her as friendly, easy to handle and indicates she gets along with other cats as well as dogs.

Apollo is sweet boy but he needs to find the right home. The shelter is recommending he goes to a family with no small dogs, cats or other small mammals, and a home with no small children. Apollo is a smart, playful guy. He enjoys going on walks and needs daily exercise to keep him happy.
