Help shelter pets while you shop

The Common Market Co-op’s Bring a Bag for Change program thanks shoppers with a token worth 5 cents for each reusable shopping bag they utilize. Shoppers can place their tokens into a container designated for Frederick Friends of Our County Animal Shelter now through December. The Common Market will donate the value of total tokens and 1 percent of a day’s sales to FFOCAS. The Common Market is at 5728 Buckeystown Pike, Unit B1, Frederick.

Silent auction and adoption event

Towels needed for rescued puppies

Lonely Hearts Animal Rescue needs gently used bath and beach towels for the care of rescued puppy litters until they are adopted.
