Vendors invited to Howl-O-Wine

Vendor applications are available for Wags for Hope’s ninth annual Howl-O-Wine fundraiser from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 12, rain or shine, at Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard. Items are still being accepted for the raffle and silent auction. Wags for Hope volunteers and their pets visit nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, hospitals and hospice. Cat rescue welcomes donations

Cuddles Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer nonprofit, with ongoing needs for supplies. Donations of Friskies pate cat food, paper towels, Clorox wipes, and bleach help ensure a safe, healthy environment for the rescue’s residents. Visit www.cuddlescatrescue.com to learn more.

Quick Fix for Cats

The Frederick County Humane Society sponsors Quick Fix for Cats clinics twice a year, in February and September. Pricing for clients is $25 per neuter, $35 per spay and $15 per rabies vaccination, if needed. Information for the fall Quick Fix is at www.fchs.org.
