Seventh-grade Monocacy Middle School students Sophia Jackson and Natalie Larsson designed and completed a fundraising project with advanced academics specialist Christine Borman-Bozick. They raised $143 from the sales of handmade rubber band bracelets, which was donated June 9 to the FMH Cancer Patient Assistance Fund. From left are Ken Coffey, vice president and chief development officer of Frederick Memorial Hospital; Sophia and Natalie, students; and Borman-Bozick.
