Frederick residents have three upcoming opportunities to learn about the city's plan for Hargett Farm and give their thoughts directly to city staff members.

The city has plans to turn the 148-acre farm on the west side of the city into a regional park with an aquatic center and multipurpose fields.

Roelkey Myers, deputy director of parks and recreation, will present the plan at three meetings: 1 p.m. Sunday at Hill Street Pavilion, 100 Hill St., Frederick; 6 p.m. Monday at the city's annex building at 140 W. Patrick St. as part of the Green Team Initiative meeting; 7 p.m. Wednesday at Overlook Park Pavilion, 501 Coralberry Court.

For details, call the city at 301-600-1493.
