Republican county executive candidate Blaine Young amassed more than $227,700 in campaign funds in recent months, raising seven times the total of his Democratic rival, Jan Gardner.
Campaign finance reports filed Tuesday show Young collected hefty sums from corporations and limited liability companies, some of which contributed $4,000 to his election bid.
"Clearly job creators and local businesses are proud to support my efforts that have reduced unemployment in Frederick County," Young, a county commissioner, said in a statement after filing his report.
His committee also took in many small contributions from individuals during the reporting period that ran from June 9 to Aug. 19.
Gardner raised roughly $31,962 over the reporting period and spent about $8,111. Most of her funds came from individual donations, though she did receive a handful of contributions from businesses. Her campaign also received $750 in support from the campaign committees of former County Commissioner Kai Hagen and former state delegate candidate Roger Wilson.
"A pretty broad base of people have definitely supported me," she said.
Tuesday was the first finance reporting deadline since the June primary election and offered a glimpse into the campaign activity since Gardner and Young received their respective party nominations.
Young said when he read Gardner's report, he was interested to see that the former county commissioner didn't get much financial support from local businesses.
"The business community is very, very scared that we're going to return back to the tax-and-spend ways," Young said.
Gardner said she does have support from small businesses, which are the county's true job creators. By contrast, development interests account for a large chunk of Young's funding, with heavy investments coming from entities linked to two particular individuals, Gardner said.
Young's campaign reports show that at least $27,900 came from developer Mark Matan and companies associated with him.
Gardner said she doesn't think the business community is worried about her becoming county executive, and she isn't intimidated by Young's money lead.
"Blaine spent half a million dollars in the primary and barely got half the vote in his own party," she wrote in an email. "People have had enough. They yearn for new leadership. Citizens want growth to be managed responsibly and pay its fair share, they want good schools and adequate roads and they want to end the taxpayer gifts to out-of-county developers."
Young said though some could consider his contributors developers, he views them as job creators, with many of them involved in commercial projects rather than residential ones.
Gardner's finance report shows she spent funds mainly on yard signs, advertisements and giveaway items like T-shirts and bumper stickers. Young spent $130,153 during the reporting period, pouring thousands of dollars in advertisements and signs for himself and the council candidates he supports.
Young has about $201,270 in the bank compared with Gardner's $89,260, but despite the cash advantage, he doesn't assume his battle is won; Young said he thinks the campaign will be "hard fought" to the end.

Jill---Take a hint, unlike Blaine's fundraising advantage the comments are 7 to 1against you....Me
Tell me it isn't so that the Fraternal Order of Police Frederick County Deputy Sheriff’s Lodge and the International Association of Fire Fighters are supporting Blaine Young. Isn't that a violation of your public employee ethics to not show favortism in public elections. You're not like talking about politics in the county workplace are you.
Jill King is having a fit because the Frederick County Teachers Association is supporting Jan Gardner but that is different because that is them and this is us.
How much of Blaine Young's, Kirby Delauter's, and Billy Shreve's county paid time and resources are spent on improving their political campaigns.
http://blaineyoung.com/organizational-endorsements/
The ethics violation is clear with FCPS. There is nothing wrong with the other unions you list endorsing and supporting a candidate. Funny that an FCTA board member gets caught with ethics breaches, when the queen just stated that the County has the issue. Maybe she should worry about who is supporting her and to what extent they will go to have her elected. It is just disgusting. Using children as pawns and public tax dollars to promote their agenda is unethical and unscrupulous.
Blaine Young has got that covered, if it was unethical they'd make it illegal.
So is it illegal.

good reference, Extra Ignored. here's the title of the article & a quote:
October 19, 2013
Monrovia project opponents scrutinize Young's campaign donations
" Opponents of a proposed 1,510-home project in Monrovia are raising questions about campaign contributions that Commissioners President Blaine Young has accepted from companies linked to the developers.
Donations totaling $28,000 poured into Young’s campaign coffers Oct. 29, 2012, from seven companies whose resident agent is helping head up the Monrovia Town Center project.
The same day, the campaign received an additional $3,000 from 75-80 Dragway Inc., a company that owns some of the property slated for development."
i notice no postings in the comments section of this article by jill king defending blaine you're corrupt quid pro quo campaign payoffs. Hmm.
... and that "resident agent" for 7 companies would be....
..... can we please have a drum roll......
RAND W. - who happens to be blaine's friend/attorney/accomplice?
and kirby's too, and the 'applicants' agent too.
not ethical, and not legal.

Such hilarity in the comeback. There is not one thing that you suggested that you can prove.
It is great that the Gardner campaign is running a campaign off of mere suggestion, which lacks factual documentation to back it up.
It is getting pretty boring arguing with people that can only suggest or say he said she said then duck under fake umbrellas. The term for that is coward.
Jill are you talking about your own comments because you haven't proven anything.
Remember there is a difference between fact and opinion.

If Blaine Young's supporters want to throw their money down a rabbit hole let them do it.
Karl Rove convinced a number of billionaires that they could influence state and federal elections by contributing billions in 2012........down the rabbit hole those millions went.
i would hope all of these anti blaine young people are registered to vote on elelction day and show up to vote him out of office. then again how many will vote on name reognition and not know a thing abut the person they are voting to put into office.
In this County voting on just name recognition and letter in the parenthesises would go to the undereducated Republicans.
This should have read FCTA wants more money. Major contributors include Jack Dale, Gary Brennan, Chief of the union. A few teachers and it is the only local campaign that there has been a MSEA donation.
As I posted below, at least one FCTA boardmember will do anything to win seats, even use public resources to promote their agenda.
But you are not naming that board member.
Are you afraid of a libel suit.
[thumbup] That's our Jill -- full of baseless allegations.
ahh, yes Ann Throap. jill boasts the baseless for blaine.
jill you are the person, besides bline 'the changed' youg,
exhibiting multiple personality disorder.
Why are you expecting the readers here to chase your carrot.
Why not name that person here then.
Can you not read? She just named the person on here. And yes there was evidence and yes, the violations of FCPS policy (and possibly law?) have been remediated.
Umak is the teacher who earned his master's degree and got a step increase and called the Blaine Young BOCC out at a public hearing on education funding.
Are you assuming he is the board member Jill is referring to.
That is a leap of faith.
Funny, real funny.

Jill King states " This is what real news is, revealing people using public sources for political and financial gain. "
oh - you must be referring to how your beloved mentor blaine young who has been doing what you just described above - for as many years as he has been in elected office. that would include going back to his alderman black book days, right up to the present day.
blaine is king of heap when it comes to elected "people using public sources for political and financial gai. " , jill!
Extra Ignored, did you forget the topic?

No assumptions. He is the FCTA member she is referring to. I did my homework and verified before commenting.

Jan has been a strong supporter of public education for more than 20 years. Though we are both retired at this point, Jack and I are both very pleased to support her in any way we can!

I'm sure this article should come as no surprise to people in Frederick - lets just hope they have enough sense to get out and vote so Mr "I'm a changed man" Young does not get elected.
A different headline, but very accurate could have read, " Young Receives More Than Half of His Donations ($119,000 of the $227,700)) from 2 Addresses".
Entities (mostly LLCs) controlled by Matan Companies located at 4600 Wedgewood Blvd contributed $62,095 - and entities controlled by St. John Properties out of Baltimore at 2560 Lord Baltimore Drive
contributed $57,000 on the last day of the filing period.
Also to note, Country View FFB PO Box 577 in Damascus (of note the same address as prior donors Damascus Hills and Stanley Grain) contributed $8,000 - $4,000 from Lisa Stanley Willis, and $4,000 from Kevin Stanley.
Jefferson Park Development of Potomac MD (likely related to Jefferson Tech Park) contributed $4,000.
Frall Developers' Adam Frey ($4,000) and James Frey ($3,095) are also of note in the report.
For the most part, these are out of county developers who do not pay taxes here, who employ construction workers who likely come from PA, WV, and Washington County - none of whom contribute to the tax base here either. The good news is, they can not vote here.
Anyway, just scratching the surface of what is really the story behind the news this morning. I am sure there is more...
The choice for voters is clear, a candidate who is still being supported by ONE sector of the business community who get what they pay for as evidenced over the past 4 years, or Jan Gardner - the candidate supported by a broad range of citizens/businesses/organizations.
I have no doubt that Jan is grateful to every singe donor who has contributed to the campaign, and she will ALWAYS have the best interests of our citizens as her top priority!
Campaigns are about MORE than just money, they are about people, and so I hope you will consider joining Jan's campaign as a volunteer, a donor, or someone who shows their support via a yard sign, or bumper sticker, or button!
If YOU'RE In It to Win It, too...join the campaign today at www.jandgardner.org!!!

Developers create temporary jobs that end up drawing unemployment benefits at least part of the year or until the benefits run out.
The 2008 Recession was termed a "mancession" because construction jobs virtually disappeared.

Rich developers have deep pockets. Karl Rove raised over 150 million dollars to defeat President Obama in 2012...................money doesn't always buy elections.
exactly Al, money doesn't always buy elections.
... I believe carl rove blew 300 million in 2012.... what a looser.
Voting opposite the money is a good, initial step to avoiding a corrupt politician. With Jan taking 80% in the FNP polls, I'm very optimistic residents will do what's good for residents. I don't agree with some of things she does especially not removing the incinerator from the table once and for all, but, I know that BY will keep Frederick buried in dirty industry and base all his decisions on "donations". Look where he posts his campaign signs, run down empty lots, quarries, cheap hotels...eyesore after eyesore. His type of people and where he thinks Frederick belongs.
To the older residents who are comfortable with voting for "a name"- You realize that BY is selling out your way of life faster than anyone? BY stands for nothing but himself. Set aside the D/R and Vote Smart.
In a soon to be released article: "Gardner enjoys a 7-1 vote edge over Young"
Not too fast. No matter how much you may like Gardner or despise Moe Young, he's a crooked, shrewd campaigner - and he has a ton of old-school, crooked Fred-ick County money in his coffers.
Everyone needs to get out and either vote for Gardner or against Moe Young...and, without putting them off, try and educate & persuade others.
Agree with you totally, I don't put anything past that narcissistic man. Get out, speak out and get him out!
With huge sums of money in the bank and the ability to raise much more from developers, Blaine is in perfect position to spring an "October Surprise". He has shown that he is capable of doing almost anything to win, so don;t be shocked if right before the election, he or one of his flunkies makes an outrageous accusation against Jan.
My guess is, he's going to announce that he's getting rid of the incinerator in October. Knowing his compatriots, I'm also in agreement that he's going to play even dirtier closer to the election.
But he's a kinder, gentler changed 'man.'
Then there will be a robocall 24 hours before the election saying Jan Gardner holds her socks up with bubble gum.
Yep. He's holding it close and will all of a sudden say "he's listened to the people of Fredick county" and cancelled the deal.
Then on November 5 he will have forgotten to sign the papers cancelling the deal. Thank goodness there are state lawmakers to protect us from our county lawmakers or else we would be living in tyranny.
“I can’t be bought,” he said.
Young checks his campaign donations to make sure they are in accordance with the law and with ethical standards, he said, and he is comfortable accepting funds from companies with ties to the town center project.
“If it wasn’t ethical, they’d make it illegal,” he said of state lawmakers.
http://www.fredericknewspost.com/news/economy_and_business/business_topics/building/article_7b8ee3d6-5fba-55a7-8609-825fd8e8b38d.html
Who is surprised that the 1% supports Blaine?
There is no such thing as a free lunch. The LLCs donating to Blaine Young will come calling just like the supplement king came calling on the McDonnells.
Funny, We were talking about the WashPost story on the similarities this morning at our house, too!
"Young said though some could consider his contributors developers, he views them as job creators..."
And who's going to argue against more jobs for Mexican dry-wallers?
(Sheriff Jenkins, I suppose, but you'll never hear a peep from him. I wonder why?)
If Sheriff Chuck Jenkins can arrest the illegal immigrants after they finish their work but before they get paid the developers save money.
i wonder how much Blaine contributed to the FNP to be able to get this article in.
If you consider Developer money "fundraisers"
Pulp Fiction by pulp paper...get some real news, FNP.
Lots of wishful thinking about Blaine losing the election. I'm hopeful of that too. However, there are just too many people brainwashed into fearing anyone with a "D" after their name.
Contrary to the popular belief of many right-wing zealots, most Democrats are not communists, are not trying to take away your guns, and are not against saying Merry Christmas. Most Democrats are just as patriotic and American as their Republican counterparts.
A little bit of critical thinking should be enough to sway the county executive race away from Blaine, but he's counting on that not happening.
Unfortunately you're right. I'm hoping Blaine's political career goes the way of the do-do...but I don't trust the people of this county to think critically and make a decision on anything other than R vs D on the ballot.
Trust me, Ba'Lane is done. He has not control over how anyone votes, peo
The main thing is to get the people to vote for Jan Gardner in the general election. The voter is the deciding factor, and not necessary money.
With the enormous campaign contributions made to Blaine, it means that promises made are promises kept...The major question is who's money does Blaine plan on using to pay back the promises he made and must be kept ???...Any promises he's made to Frederick County citizens should be first and foremost but they can't afford him...Me
A well known developer Jan went to asking for a donation turned her down.
Proof? I'm no Blaine fan, but if we can provide proof of that it would be very telling.
Mary have you been stalking Jan Gardner.
Perhaps you have an email supporting your claim.
Documentation or it didn't happen
Mary's just taking a page from Jill King's book and making random accusations with nothing backing them up, hoping to distract the voters and trying to wash the stink off Blaine Young.
Scrub harder, ladies, he still smells like a money-grubbing crook.
Blaine got over half his loot from two developers--$119,000 of the $227K:
LLC's controlled by Matan Companies
All listed address as 4600 Wedgewood Blvd. (Campaign HQ = Suite A)
$62,095
LLC's controlled by St. John Properties, 2560 Lord Baltimore Dr, Baltimore (or Windsor Mill) MD, 21244
$57,000
Jefferson Park Development (JTPI) kicked in a measly $4,000 in exchange for their $100 Million TIF benefit package. (Such a deal! They own WFMD, too. Hmmm...)
[thumbup]
Nov 4th, the 3 Stooges will be taken off the air.
Next year this time Jan Gardner will be 2/3 of the way through her first year as Frederick County's first ever county executive.
to the supporters of Ba'Lane Young - just remember, no matter how much you disapprove of Jan Gardner, she is the County Executive, not because of anything she did, but because of Mr young did. Remember - she really didn't have to set forth much work in winning the CE seat.
Why are people donating to a person who cannot even spell?
Or properly pronounce the name of the county he serves (Moe's "Fred-ick" County).
[thumbup]
Because he plays golf.
im sure he plays it in Green castle. [thumbdown]
Remember Blaine "respects money" - maybe that is why he has so much of it. Money doesn't buy everything! Too bad he doesn't respect people - he is only about himself.... a sad little man.
And that's just what's on the table...not what's under the table. He will lose anyway. People have had enough, and that's really saying something here in Frederick.
I hope you're right and he does lose...but the people of this county have proven they care more about lies and political party than reputable candidates whose maturity level is above that of a toddler.
I thought Blaine was going to be more respectful, but he is still treating us like idiots by referring to developers as job creators. Of course they would rather pay you a little up front in exchange for your favoritism and tax breaks. Those donations are developer investments that we will pay for many times over in taxes and poorer quality of life if Blaine wins.
Did Mark Long forget to file his campaign finance report AGAIN?
I'm not voting for Kirby, but if Long can't do something as simple as following election law, I may just have to blank vote in that race.
Do a write-in.
It wouldn't upset me as much if this were a "one-off" kind of event, but this failing to file reports is beginning to look like a pattern for Mark Long. He's either forgetful or incompetent (maybe both?).
A vote for anyone but Long is a vote for Kirby.
Maybe Long's report is with the missing Citizens/Montevue feasibility study.
A blank vote isn't a vote for anyone.
Long's report is with the missing feasibility study, OJ plans on looking for both along with the "real killers" if he gets paroled early.
Since Delauter has numerous supporters a vote not cast for Long won't cancel out a vote cast for Delauter.
Mark Long did file before the deadline. It's at the State Board of Elections reports along with the others. Here is a direct link. file:///C:/Users/Seth/AppData/Local/Temp/CampaignFinanceReport_Public_028de736-2f43-4727-b8a4-9795675d5526.pdf

Seth you must be Mark's brother. You contributed to his campaign.
The most interesting thing in the reports Young has the Firefighters union, while Gardner has the teachers union. Firefighters all live in this county.
An FCTA board member has already been caught promoting candidates through public FCPS property and the sale of his book for profit. The Frederick News Post has refused to report on this, although all of the evidence was there for their viewing.
Who would you trust in an emergency?
Finally, Jill's pro union.
Quote:
[i]"Firefighters all live in this county."[/i]
Response:
Jill, you are dead wrong. I happen to know that MANY Frederick county fire fighters live in Washington county.
And Jill, writing lies like you just did make you look angry :) jan has won the CE seat because Ba'Lane ruined himself, you can not be angry at her for that. If you don't like jan being the CE, then take your issue to the man that helped her win the seat - Ba'Lane Young.
Kelly Alzan, FCPS knows who did it and I would be glad to out the FCTA board member/ teacher who was utilizing the public resources to promote his political agenda and book. If FNP would do some reporting, instead of campaigning they would have took the story and written about it.
My latest www.thetentacle.com tells the entire story.
"have took the story,"
"That needs fixed."
Jill King - what are you talking about?
My comment was in response to your post that "all" the county fire fighters live in the county.
And you respond to me about teachers and the school system. What on earth?
Are you feeling ok?
Duh!
Who would you trust in an emergency?........
Not Balaine!!!![beam]
The paid firefighter might support, but the volunteers have not endorsed him because they are still trying to digest having an overpaid $115,000.00 fire chief armed down their throat, and spending more than $26,000 more than what the position paid last year when Blaine eliminated it. This is what northern Frederick Co is paying for for their increased fire tax
documentation or it didn't happen
Hereafter referenced as "doidh"
Hum, I thought we were talking about the elections for CE not getting side tracked on FCPS......
Young lowered the standards for the APFO and now we can thank him that our kids will be taught by underpaid teachers, in portables and we'll have to spend many more hours stuck in traffic to get home to try to enjoy some family time. And then we'll be taxed up the wazoo to pay for the roads and schools that can't support all the growth.....
Maybe that is more important!
Gardner will have the County back in the court system, when she tries to play dictator and attempts to enforce her APFO on the municipalities.
Young is the best of the two candidates.
Uh....who's the dictator??? Oh right...Blaine is now kindler and gentler and pinky swears to be open to listening to the voice of the people...then again, corporations are people too...so I guess blaine has selective hearing on which "people" he listens to.
Of course Jan Gardner will have to go to court to finish the cases the Blaine Young BOCC has created.
You think all those things will disappear just because there are new elected officials.
To think you went to FCC to attend the legal assistance program.
The county has a record number of lawsuits right now. We are talking dozens of lawsuits. Young has the county in hot water and in court on land use decisions, Citizens and Montevue, employees suing the county........ The county is spending a fortune on the Citizens and Montevue case alone.
When A.R. "Adam" Avery, who lists himself as "Campaign Coordinator at Blaine Young for County Executive" on his Linkedin account, posts as munchie on the FNP comments page, isn't that technically spam? Does the FNP have a policy on spammers posting?
The only thing money can do now is buy a fixed election in November.
I wonder how much Blaine charges himself for the use of the big orange truck?
Blaine's campaign has paid Interstate Mobile Advertising, which Blaine owns, $7000. so far in 2014, according to the Maryland Campaign Finance database.
It don't matter how much money he has. From someone that is deep into his campaign said yesterday that he was way behind Jan in the polls
Blame young has offended people across the political spectrum. There isn't enough money in the world to undo that and the irreparable damage that he has done to Frederick County.
Blaine needs all the money to make up for all his short-comings, personally and professionally... Jan Gardner doesn't have those problems...The corporate money Blaine gets allows them to be heard without attending public meetings...Me
So they let Bethany have another crack at reporting...well looking at campaign finance reports and putting them into print not to hard to do and awfully hard to spin in Blaine's favor.
The stupidest thing Blaine has ever said:
Young said though some could consider his contributors developers, he views them as job creators, with many of them involved in commercial projects rather than residential ones...LOLOLOLOLOL
The smartest thing that Jan said:
"Blaine spent half a million dollars in the primary and barely got half the vote in his own party," she wrote in an email. "People have had enough. They yearn for new leadership. Citizens want growth to be managed responsibly and pay its fair share, they want good schools and adequate roads and they want to end the taxpayer gifts to out-of-county developers."
Builder money is Blaine's for the taking
they're protecting the gains they've been making
but his outlook is dim
as the problem for him
is rewriting a past he's not shaking.
The voters of Frederick County will send a strong message to the developers and those who think that money equals power when Blaine is voted out of office.
Obama raised $1.072B vs Romney's $992.5M
And the point of this article is?
Obama won, but Balaine will lose!!![beam]
Obama didn't have seven times the money Romney had.
Romney put his foot in his own mouth many times just like Blaine Young has.
Romney's own father lived on welfare as a child. Everyone who gets a paycheck pays social security and medicare taxes even if they don't make enough to pay income taxes.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2gvY2wqI7M
And I'm sick of hearing Young lie about Ms. Gardner's record.
During her four years as BoCC President, from 2006 - 2010, spending increased a total of $2 million. During Young's four years as BoCC President, from 2010-2014, spending increased $47 million.
Under Gardner's watch, the property tax rate held steady at 93.6 cents. During Young's four years, the property tax rate ballooned to 106 cents.
Young is the real tax and spender. Just look at how he throws money around on his own campaign - He's already spent nearly $600,000, most of it squeezed out of residential developers, with very little to show.
That is so misleading and intentional from the Gardner campaign. The fire tax makes the impact, so essentially taxes did not go up. ....well unless you were never responsible for paying your fair share for services you recieve.
Jill - When you add the property tax rate and the fire tax rate together, Blaine got a larger number than the total. Blaine raised property taxes. The truth certainly evades you. Blaine is the big tax and spender.
You must be a very unhappy person to spend your days telling tall tails and being miserable.
My taxes didn't go up. I paid more in the Gardner urban fire tax district, where she basically said certain people pay more because they live in town. How did she tax Sabillasville? Oh, that's right... she didn't.
Maybe you would like to make a statement for Jan as to what she thinks about the rain tax and if she would raise it?!
There is not such thing as a rain tax.
Young continues to sell out Frederick County to residential developers, and its disgusting to watch.
How much did these developers for over to get $191 million of their infrastructure paid for by County taxpayers?
How much did these developers pay to get their developments approved in locations entirely without adequate roads, schools, water, or sewer, that will cost $ billions of taxpayer funding in the future?
Mark Matan is getting into residential development, so his massive contribution will make sure Frederick County approves houses on his land regardless of where its located, and in case he needs Frederick County taxpayers to pay for his infrastructure.
put the puzzle pieces together and big spender blaine is no different than other corrupt politicians such as omalley and obama who are owned by their contributors. he keeps trying to paint jan with these unpopular figureheads while he is following their textbook to the letter while she is more concerned with researching the issues. an obvious choice in november, gardner's thoughtful decisions or young's crony capitalism.
"Campaign finance reports filed Tuesday show Young collected hefty sums from corporations and limited liability companies, some of which contributed $4,000 to his election bid." "Young's campaign reports show that at least $27,900 came from developer Mark Matan and companies associated with him." "Young said though some could consider his contributors developers, he views them as job creators, with many of them involved in commercial projects rather than residential ones."
Sure is spending a lot of money just to lose!!!![beam]
If it looks fishy & smells fishy....its fishy.. Sound's like all Blains contributions are from his Developer Cronies, I think Blain needs to become more involved in the Church, Faith in the Lord will set you free - Lying, Cheating & Stealing, will allow you to spend eternity in hell.
Jan doesn't need money since Ba'Lane has handed the county executive seat to her.
Good point. Why does Frederick County need an emerging leader when they can elect a proven leader with twelve years of experience through some of the most challenging economic times this nation has faced since the Great Depression of 1934.
So when minorities refuse to come to the "conservative" county and buy their homes are developers going to feel like they got their monies worth.
But the business community doesn't support Kirby Delauter and Billy Shreve the same way they do their fearless leader Blaine Young. Odd.
There is money in stealing from the poor and giving to the rich.
What investor wouldn't want taxpayers to fund the infrastructure to support their developments.
How does the "poor" have money to "steal"?
BTW under Obama, Reid, and Pelosi, there are ALOT more "poor" people which is why Dems are not looking at good election results
And the nerve of investors wanting to make a - gasp - return on their investment.
Treating investors and the private sector like the enemy is something the left will have to overcome if they hope to get people back to work
[scared]
[scared]
There are a lot more poor people because of the recession of 2008 that started during George W. Bush's administration.
Are people only poor if they have no money.
How can increasing the wealth and income disparity of the 1% benefit the 1%.
Pretty soon only the 1% would be able to afford what the 1% has to sell which will lead to a very small market indeed.
Adam, how much do you make in your position as "Campaign Coordinator at Blaine Young for County Executive"?
How many investors did you help on your Seniors Talk Radio Network? Did your advice help you? How have your investments been doing?
What happened to adamaverytv.com ?
I'm a broad-based mutual fund investor who stays away from real estate and I've been doing great over the past 6 years, and have no problems with Obama, Reid, and Pelosi at all.
Blaine has literally stolen from widows and orphans. And why should taxpayers guarantee investors ROI? They should assume the risk -- not us.
On Election night I suspect Blaine will also have the edge in the number of votes over Ms Gardner
I do not know what will be enjoyable. Watching MSNBC have to report the Dems lost the Senate or the Blaine haters here posting their seemingly never ending list of excuse as to why Gardner lost
Most workers are fed up with being taxed back to the Stone Age by spend thrift Dems so I will be surprised if Frederick elects a tax and spend liberal like Gardner. She reminds me so much of Jennifer Dougherty who never saw a tax increase she did not love and adore (and never admitted she was wrong something else Gardner is great at)
[yawn]
Adam, did you get tired of persecuting immigrant children in Arizona?
Or can you do that from here while working for Blaine?
I love it. Rule number 1. When you have no argument, make it personal.
You're talking about Balaine right? [lol]
Yet another Blaineiac ready to ignore facts and numbers to spout ridiculous drivel. At least Farrell Keough made everybody laugh.
"Campaign finance reports filed Tuesday show Young collected hefty sums from corporations and limited liability companies...'Clearly job creators and local businesses are proud to support my efforts that have reduced unemployment in Frederick County,' Young, a county commissioner, said in a statement after filing his report."
Really?
Unemployment rate up in county, city in July
http://www.fredericknewspost.com/news/economy_and_business/business_topics/employment/unemployment-rate-up-in-county-city-in-july/article_e51deb5f-c55d-5f3a-a486-b95569dd218a.html
"Young's campaign reports show that at least $27,900 came from developer Mark Matan and companies associated with him."
That's more like it. Keep trying to twist the truth there, Blaine. The more stories you invent, whether you're telling them to yourself or to others, the easier it is for voters to see through your smokescreen.
Let's see, at $50 a vote, Blaine has bought a whopping 2603 votes and has enough developer money in his pockets to buy 4025 more. And that's more than he deserves.
Finally:
"pouring thousands of dollars in advertisements and signs for himself and the council candidates he supports."
It's important not to forget that Blaine is relying on the support of the rest of the Weevils, Billy, Kirby, and Paul, to blindly support him in whatever decisions he makes -- the same way they have the last 4 years -- to repay his developer buddies with weakened APFOs and DRRAs and rezoning Frederick County land for any project they want.
