The city of Frederick’s Green Initiative Team and The Bicycle Escape will host a Bell and History Day bike ride Saturday.
The 8-mile bike ride will pass through three Frederick museums, beginning at the visitor center and passing through the Carroll Creek Linear Park.
Riders will stop at Schifferstadt Architectural Museum, the Frederick County History Museum and the National Museum of Civil War Medicine. Admission to each site is free.
Participants will meet at 9:45 a.m Saturday at the Frederick Visitors Center, 151 S. East St. in Frederick. Cyclists will be able to take a turn ringing the big bell outside the center to announce the official opening of the 2015 museum season.
