Ms. Brice Dorsey Verdier, of Adamstown, Maryland, died of cancer peacefully in her home on August 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Verdier who died in 2004.
Known as Brice, she was born in Baltimore in 1937, to Dr. Brice M. Dorsey and Mary E. (Claypoole) Dorsey. Her brother James C. Dorsey is now deceased. Brice graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Annapolis and from Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA with a degree in Business Administration.
Brice and Walter H. Verdier were married in 1972, and they lived in Silver Spring, Maryland, until 2000, when they became founding residents of Buckingham’s Choice in Adamstown, Maryland. Buckingham’s Choice was fortunate to be served by her talents and love for the Arts. Her passions in life were her friends, her love for animals, especially her two West Highland terriers.
Mrs Verdier is survived by her four step children and their spouses. Richard H.Verdier

Funeral services will be held Sept. 18, 2018, 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Anglican Catholic Church, located in the old stone church at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Carrollton Manor, Buckeystown, Maryland, with Father Pothin, presiding. A Remembrance luncheon will follow at Buckingham’s Choice, Adamstown, Maryland.
