President Joe Biden is bound to run for reelection, and so he should. The real question, rumbling below ground, is whether he should keep Vice President Kamala Harris as his running mate.

Is Harris really ready to be understudy for the world’s center stage? Given Biden’s advanced age of 80, the jury is out.

I thought she’d be more of a presence. I was impressed with her background, backgrounds don’t change, so I am feeling kind of vague on this running mate question. If I don’t feel I know her any better, could be partly I should’ve tried harder. I think I got lazy after being burned out by Trump’s “bigly” over-saturation. She has not intruded on my life, and I appreciate it. Am I any more convinced she could run the ship? I should have an opinion one way or the other by now. Right?

Biden and nemesis Trump are both too old to run in 2024. I hope Trump runs, so he takes some of the votes Desantis and other wackadoos would otherwise get in the primaries. It will be interesting to see what happens if Trump wins the primaries but is convicted of one or more of the various crimes he is accused of.

Maybe he will pardon himself under the presidential authority he claims as the winner of the 2020 election. Have you seen the movie “2000 Tools”?

Gretchen in 2024!

I agree. She'd win, convincingly and finally break MAGA. Hope it happens. And I'm not a big Democratic supporter.

all that was a joke, right?

Well, she does make him look good in comparison.
