I read with interest Mr. Offutt’s comments (Nov. 22) regarding the closure of Heritage Farm Park.

Yes, the future will give way for people to dump their brush and yard waste any place they so desire.

I own property with many trees. Years ago, when I was younger, I had a pickup truck and I took advantage of Heritage Farm Park especially after a wind storm. Now, I have a few piles of tree limbs in my yard and I do not want other people’s brush or tree limbs.

You see, where I live is a direct path to Devilbiss Bridge Road to Heritage Farm Park. Recently, someone lost a pile of brush and tree limbs across from my property; some of it has been dragged to my mailbox. I am sure the culprit could identify, and obviously the brush was not tied down or covered. I will sincerely appreciate if the person will remove the brush and the tree limb from my mailbox. Thank you!

Expect to see a lot more of it around Walkersville Ms. Young. Poor decision on the town's part. Rather than enforcing the rules, take it away from everyone. Brilliant. SMH.
