Traveling up and down major highways, I see trash dumped just about everywhere, and it is not plastic bags — far worse, large bags of all shapes and sizes as well as all kinds of tossed paper, and household products. It is total disregard by people who don’t care about anything but themselves. I am passionate about my little plastic bags, and in my case they are not single use. I insert them in my trash cans, I use them to pack food to keep it from leaking when I travel by car or plane. I pick up debris and use them as gloves. I could go on. When I don’t need them anymore, I recycle them. Seems those of us who do the right thing are once again going to be shut out and shut down by those who are irresponsible. Please, please those of you who will determine the fate of these bags think of us who depend upon them. When and where does it stop? Straws, bags, what is next?
