I’ll be the first to admit that the Green section of The Frederick News-Post is not my first stop in the morning. In fact, I’m embarrassed to admit, it’s near the end and I sometimes don’t even get to it.
That changed recently when I read Zoe Brittain’s column about “Sustainable Fish Options,” which I found informative and useful. If you’ve already recycled Friday’s edition, try to catch it online before it disappears.
I’ve often taken the exact simplistic approach she talks about guarding against. I’ve now replaced that with a more informed understanding regarding shopping for fish from sources/producers of fish that are both healthy and humanely raised. These, apparently, go hand in hand.
Kudos to Zoe. I won’t miss another column by her, which means I’ll get to the Green section — and a lot sooner. Thanks.
