Four people were injured after a shooting in downtown Frederick early Saturday morning, according to the Frederick Police Department.
Just after 1:30 a.m. officers responded to the area of the 600 block of North Market Street where they located an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound. The female, whose name was not immediately available, was transported to a nearby hospital.
Officers then learned that two adult males and another adult female arrived at area hospitals by private transportation. Their names were not immediately released. All four victims appear to be in stable condition, according to a news release.
After a preliminarily investigation, police do not believe the shooting to be random, but rather stemmed from a dispute.
An arrest was made in connection with the shooting late Saturday. Bryant Helon McMillon Jr., age 34, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested after officers located an occupied van in a parking lot near the shooting scene.
Inside the vehicle was a quantity of marijuana and a loaded handgun. Officer Durell Deal arrested McMillan.
