More and more Frederick County drivers are buckling up when they get behind the wheel of their vehicle.

An annual Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration study released a week ago showed that 90.5 percent of drivers and front-seat passengers were using their seat belts, based on a recent roadside observation survey. This was up slightly from 89.9 percent in 2012, although usage in the county lagged slightly behind the state average of 92 percent.
