Keeper Alayna Burgamy had five saves for TJ (2-1).

Joelle Kimbembe and Cali Cammarata each had two goals to help the Titans improve to 2-1.

Skylar Andrews and Jordan Ritta each had one goal and two assists for the Titans. Hannah Thompson and Katie Dugan each had one goal, and Jasmine Sims had one assist. Keeper Nia Hill had one save and one assist, and Haley Livingston had one save.

Linganore 3, Brunswick 1

Meghan Mong-Kerwin had two goals for the Lancers.

Taylor Ferguson had one goal for Linganore. Josie Beezel and Bailey Bennett each had one assist.

Olivia Estep had one goal for the Railroaders, and keeper Emily Willems had 12 saves.

Lauren Truelove, Hannah Clagett, Jordyn Schwartzman and Sam Foster each had one goal to help the Bears improve to 3-2.

Keeper Isabella Gould had five saves to get her third shutout of the season.

The Knights (3-1) had four different goal scorers in the victory.

Gisselle Arias, Millie Smith, Melanie Pick and Jade Catlin each scored. Caitlin Woelkers, Jill Grubb and Bella Gusman had one assist apiece.

Goalkeepers Maggie Perkins and Kylie Wells split time and combined for seven saves in the shutout.

Middletown won the JV game 2-0.

Joel Jamieson had two goals for the Cadets (3-1-1).

Dalton Shifflett had one goal for Frederick, while Mario Majalca and Rene Rodriguez each had one assist. Keeper Andrew Layman had two saves.

Ethan Fontenot had two goals for the Knights (3-2, 1-0 CMC Gambrill).

Owen Ledder, Will Leahy and Ashton Smith each had one goal for Middletown. Aaron Augustine, Dylan Burns, Fontenot and Pat Beckman had assists. Goalkeepers Eli Flores and Daniel Robison combined on the shutout.

Walkersville 2, Urbana 1

Bleyther Gomez scored the go-ahead goal on an assist from Gaim Obambe before the end of the first half for the Lions.

Trailing 1-0, Walkersville tied the match with about 21 minutes left in the first half when Mauricio Gallegos scored on an assist from Ethan Miller. Keeper Thomas Sniezek had 12 saves.

FIELD HOCKEY

Urbana 9, Catoctin 0

Maddie Hillman and Kylie Caretti each had two goals for Urbana (4-1). Uriah Banawoye, Emma Purcell, Taylor Wang, Allison Granger and Kasey Draves each had one.

Danielle McNerney and McKenna Ladson combined for the shutout.

Olivia Miller has two goals and one assist for the Lions (1-3, 1-1 CMC Gambrill).

Emily Goline had one goal and one assist for Walkersville. Goalie Ishani Tewari got the shutout without facing a shot.

Crosse Herpin led Maryland School for the Deaf by placing sixth out of 64 male runners with a time of 21 minutes, 32 seconds in the 5K race.

The Orioles’ Lera Walkup placed eight eighth out of 27 female runners.

Luis Alanis had two goals and one assist for the Cougars (5-0).

Vagner Marques-Rodriguez had one goal and one assist for FCC, and Ahmed Elmatoui had one goal. Keeper Ismael Hernandez had four saves.

Army 1, MSM 0

Keenan O’Shea scored on a penalty kick in the 25th minute to lift the Black Knights.

Mount (3-2) keeper Andrew Chwalik had six saves.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

FCC 18, CCBC Catonsville 0

Lindsey Brant had nine goals, including three in the first 15 minutes, and three assists to help the Cougars roll.

Ally Pick had four goals and three assists for FCC (6-1). Ashley Nguyen had two goals, Nicole Godoy, Gemma Carioti and Jasmine Lara also had goals.

Hood 1, Catholic 1

Melissa Merritt’s team-leading fourth goal of the year, which came in the 13th minute on an assist from Erin Scarborough, gave Hood a 1-0 lead.

Blazers keeper Lydia Erickson had 12 saves in all 110 minutes.

Hood’s Tanner wins

The Blazers’ Tanner Leonard tied the school record with a round of 71 to win the Elizabethtown Inviational at Hershey Country Club East in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Leonard defeated Eastern’s Nicky Marrollo by one stroke for the win on the par-71, 6,384-yard course. He tied former Blazer and current assistant coach Andy Baker for the school record. It was his first career round at Hood after transferring from York.

Hood’s Sam Driscoll, who tied for fifth, shot a 74, and Andrew Heon shot a 78 and tied for 15th.

Hood was third overall with a 308.

Hartford Hawk Invitational

Michael Robinson shot a 77 to lead Mount St. Mary’s in the third and final round.
