Walkersville 49, Brunswick 38

The Lions hit nine 3-pointers and got 12 points apiece from Ryley Bolyard and Indatou Ali-Goukoye in the road win Thursday night.

Bolyard added six boards and three assists. Ali-Goukoye added nine rebounds. Payton Moots had five boards and four assists.

Cassidy Rhodes and Zhanna Snyder paced the Railroaders with nine points each.

Walkersville won the JV game 49-8 led by Emma Bowers’ 16 points.

Tuscarora 66, North Hagerstown 35

Taniya Kufuna had 18 points for Tuscarora (11-7). Milca Barou had 13 points with 11 rebounds and four blocks.

Tuscarora won the junior varsity game 38-19. Mia Hill was the leading scorer for the Titans with 15 points. Jacoya Cartnail-Riddick had 10.

Oakdale 52, Catoctin 46

Sam Foster and Nikki Etchison each had 10 points for Oakdale (18-2). Foster had eight rebounds and six assists. Grace Carey had seven rebounds. Gabby Averill had five.

Courtney Eyler had 15 points for Catoctin (15-5). Emma Wivell had 13.

Oakdale won the junior varsity game 34-17. Mikayla Carey had 10 points for the Bears.

Middletown 67, Smithsburg 19

Saylor Poffenbarger had 17 points with 13 rebounds and seven assists for host Middletown (19-1), which completes its Central Maryland Conference Gambrill division scheduled undefeated (14-0). Melanie Pick had 12 points with five rebounds. Kate Pusey had five rebounds. Meghan Shipley had four assists. Riley Nelson had three.

Warriors 66, Highland View 16

Marie Pedroza had 18 points with six rebounds, five assists and three steals for the Frederick Warriors (12-9). Ella Bennett had 15 points with eight assists. Miriam Narat had 14 points. Prudence Cox had 12 points with four steals and three blocks. Julianna Passarelli had nine rebounds, six assists and three blocks.

BOYS BASKETBALL

North Hagerstown 81, Urbana 55

Shishir Poreddy had 11 points for visiting Urbana (2-17).

North Hagerstown won the junior varsity game 63-57.

Williamsport 66, Walkersville 56

Jacob Montgomery had 21 points for visiting Walkersville (8-11). Josh Stevens had 14 points with four assists. Andrew Brooks had 10 points. Nick Waltrup had six rebounds.

Williamsport won the junior varsity game 53-46.

Warriors 91, Highland View Academy 47

Five players scored in double figures for the Frederick Warriors (11-12).

David Homans had 18 points. Caleb Passarelli had 16. Tyler Lindley had 15. David Switzer had 12. Ryan Shipe had 10.

Noah Ulrich had 12 rebounds. Switzer had 10. Aaron Chew had eight rebounds with four blocks. Homans had eight assists and three steals. Lindley had five assists. Shipe had three. Passarelli had six rebounds, seven assists and seven steals.
