USC wide receiver Jordan Addison had 59 catches this season.
Associated PressThe honors keep piling up for Jordan Addison.
The USC wide receiver and Tuscarora High grad was named to the All-Pac 12 first team offense on Tuesday after leading the conference with eight receiving touchdowns.
That, along with his team-leading 59 receptions and 875 receiving yards, came despite missing two games and barely playing in another due to a leg injury.
It’s another award for the Pitt transfer, who broke out in 2021 and won the Biletnikoff Award as the country’s top receiver. The 6-foot, 175-pound junior was an All-American in 2021.
The past two seasons have exploded Addison’s stock, and he is expected to be one of the first wide receivers taken next April at the NFL Draft.
If he is selected in the first round, Addison would become the second Frederick County player to be taken that early, following Frederick High grad Chuck Foreman in 1973, when he was picked No. 12 overall by the Minnesota Vikings.
