Walkersville 52, Urbana 51

Walkersville (4-4) held on down the stretch for the win Thursday night at Urbana High.

Jacob Montgomery led the Lions with 20 points. Chaz Egan had 10 points, six rebounds and three steals. Andrew Brooks had three assists.

Cully Loun and Justin Zimmerman each had 16 points for Urbana (0-9).

Urbana won the junior varsity game 42-30. Mike Cederdahl led Urbana with 10 points.

Linganore 68, Frederick 23

Francisco Palacios had 21 points for Lingnanore (8-2, 5-0 CMC Spires). Matt Schiller had 14. Cole Mitchell had 13.

Mark Minter led Frederick (4-3, 2-1) with eight points.

North Hagerstown 63, Tuscarora 53

Joshua Droughon had 17 points for Tuscarora (4-6). James Quinn had 12 points with seven assists. Xavier Chase had 12 points with 11 rebounds. Savion Maultsby had seven rebounds.

North Hagerstown won the junior varsity game 56-52. Rob Holman had 19 points for the Titans. Latrelle Marks had 14.

South Hagerstown 74, TJ 71

South Hagerstown took advantage of a Thomas Johnson turnover and converted two foul shots in the last few seconds of the game to hold off a Patriots comeback.

TJ (4-6) converted a pair of technical foul shots with 9.4 seconds to go in the game to cut the Rebels’ lead to one. The Patriots then turned the ball over on an inbounds play. TJ was forced to foul.

The Rebels hit both foul shots to clinch the win.

Nate Owusu had 29 points, four assists and four steals for TJ. Jeremiah Morris had four assists. Binwi Bihai had seven rebounds.

Smithsburg 74, Brunswick 52

Brayden Jones had 17 points for Brunswick (2-8). J.T. Harich had four assists. Adam Watkins had seven rebounds.

Brunswick won the junior varsity game 58-41. Josh Cadle had 21 points for the Railroaders.

Williamsport 76, Oakdale 65

Tommy Kelly had 22 points with four assists for Oakdale (6-3, 3-1 CMC Gambrill). Alex Hawkins had 14 points with five rebounds. Jack McGaha had 13 points. Ethan Reifer had five rebounds.

Oakdale won the junior varsity game 55-50. Christian Wade had 17 points for the Bears.

FCA 64, Warriors 52

Justin Morrisey had 30 points with six rebounds and two blocks for Frederick Christian Academy (7-0). Jon Pigatt had 10 points with seven rebounds. Doug McClure had six rebounds. Jaden Wade had five assists.

Caleb Passarelli had 24 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Frederick Warriors (6-6). Aaron Chew and Noah Ulrich each had six rebounds. Ryan Shipe had four steals.


New Life 46, BCA 21

Claire Socash had 23 points with 13 rebounds for New Life Christian (8-4). Lexi Standford had 10 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks. Angela Bueso had four assists.

Warriors 44, FCA 39

Julianna Passarelli had 12 points with nine rebounds and two blocks for the Frederick Warriors (8-3). Prudence Cox had 10 points with 10 rebounds. Marie Pedroza had four steals. Ella Bennett had 10 rebounds with five assists.
