Thomas Johnson’s Jacob Gibson held off Urbana’s Elliott Haas for a two-shot victory in the Class 4A-3A District I Championship on Friday at Westminster National.

Gibson shot a 71 while Haas carded a 73. Urbana’s Bach Ngo and Michael Snyder tied for third (74).

In the team standings, Urbana defeated Westminster, 303-308. Both the Hawks and Owls qualified their complete teams for the state tournament, which begins on Monday, Oct. 22, at University of Maryland’s golf course in College Park.

Linganore finished third as a team in the tournament (335). TJ was fifth (369). Frederick finished sixth (400). Tuscarora was seventh (410).

Also scoring for Urbana was Jacob Ferrari (82).

Linganore’s Ryan McFadden qualified as an individual for the state tournament, shooting a 76.

In girls individual competition, Linganore’s Payton Smith and Urbana’s Anphi Le qualified for states. Smith shot a 79. Le followed with an 80.

These are excellent athletes, in the future, they will become known to the whole world, I myself do a little golf, I recently bought golf equipment, I can recommend the original site , I think for golfers this is a good service.
