I don't think the online edition should be free to anyone. My subscription has been costing $16.40 per month. I recently received notification that the subscription has been raised to $16.80 per month. That means my subscription is now over $200 a year but you are giving full access online for NOTHING. Maybe I should cancel my subscription, enjoy it for free online and maybe restart my subscription when it isn't free again (if that ever happens). Also, if people don't have a paid subscription, they shouldn't have access to post comments.

So charging for it was just a money grab......

I am happy to pay for my subscription. I also very much appreciate the dedication of my newspaper delivery person. Thanks FNP. Nice to get local news.

Why are you minoring the paying costumers,/ minor the non-paying ones. why do we have to log in every several article? why do we see the same articles week after week? it not new news, old news.

I came here during COVID-19. I am leaving just as quickly because of the childish comments sections. I can get similar info elsewhere without having to see that nonsense.

Thank you for all your hard work covering the outbreak. I will continue to pay for a subscription because I think it is important to support local journalism.

Then, promotes self, announcing it for all the area to hear...

This is one of the most poorly written newspapers in the United states. They also don't keep they're word and will simply delete comments that are acceptable according to there standards, but because whoever is reading them gets offended and deleted them for no just reason. They can't even do that with neutrality so don't pay. Go incognito online. Tell your friends.

“their” and “their”, respectively. I agree with your substantive point. It has long seemed tone that the FNP deletes comments merely because someone complained and not because the TOS were violated. It’s almost like FNP staff have better things to do than read comments.

they're = they are You misused it.

there = shows placement You misused it.

their = shows possession This is what you should have used. (friend of the FNP)

Thanks for doing what you can!

Should be free all the time. Get you money from advertisers. It's BS what you all do

Go incognito online and it's always free ;)

Thanks for allowing more space for us who browse headlines and their 9 a month FNP

Thats great! Now suspend subscription collection for the equivalent amount of time. Since you, FNP, belong to the party of fair it is right thing to do.

OFFS....are you really that cheap?

Thank you, I live out of state and appreciate this very much.

Hope it's appreciated.
